I am becoming more forgetful.

Lol batteries are definitely on my to buy list. I start college soon so supplies and gas have to come first.

Unless you find a good sale, the best prices for guaranteed genuine batteries are at RTDVapor and Orbtronics. Most of them are in the $6 and $7 range.

RTDVapor has Samsung 25R for $4.95. There are few better than the 25R for a Pico, especially at that price. If you order two batteries, you get a free snap top case.

Samsung INR18650-25R 2500mAh Green

Or Sony VTC4 for $6.79.
Sony US18650VTC4 2100mAh

Well I visited my uncle yesterday, He lives about an hour drive away and I brought my Pico with the Merlin RTA on it. I also brought a couple of my batteries (I only have 3) in a red battery box. Well I just got a call saying I left those there last night. So now I'll be driving an extra 2 hours round trip to get my dang batteries. :( Eerg. I seem to be forgetting more things lately.

So I guess if anyone wants, they can share any similar forgetful type stories. :-x:unsure::tumble:

Something I did awhile back that has Saved my bacon a few times is to put a Wall Wart and USB Cable in the glove box of my car.

I don't like to Charge Batteries using a Mods Onboard charging port. But in a Pinch it is Nice to be able to. And my Cell Phone ALWAYS seems to need to be charged.

Yea, I have a power inverter in my truck, and a cell phone charger that also fits the Pico, but the output of the cell charger is like nothing so I can't take hardly any worthwhile type of draw while I have the car charger plugged into the Pico.

You mean the gas you burned going 100 miles for $9 worth of batteries?

Planet killer @$#%!

Lol... you mentioned the AC, at least the cruise was pleasant, I hope.

Oh wait... Air Con. Planet killer @$#%!

:p

I think the charge cuts out while you pass-through vape, but if you're low on charge, yeah watts can be auto-limited. Depending on the mods amp specs.

Never cared for the entire idea of pass-through myself. Hard on a battery if overused.
But in a pinch... gotta do what you gotta do. :D

The charger only puts out about an amp usually. That is about 5 watts. And if your battery is pretty well dead and you are only/mostly drawing from the charger.....

Thanks.

"Pass-through" is a bit of a misnomer I think.
I don't believe there's ever an instance where you're vaping off the energy supplied by the charger.
But I could be wrong.

You can test that out. Okay here is what you do. Get a usb charging cable. Strip the wires. Find positive and negative, hook them to each lead in a coil. Plug it in and................ Let me know how it goes.

That's true, I've got a couple around somewhere... they don't work worth a damn.

But I'm thinking of how our regulated mods are wired.
I've never looked into it... do we know?
Even if the battery is dead i would think the power goes to the battery and then the coil. And the mod regulates power to give the battery some amount of charge. My guess anyway.

Sorry, I deleted that part while you were quoting it... distracted watching the Games. :p

Yeah, that's what I meant and what Robert was trying to say (I misunderstood him).
I just never liked the idea of charging a very low cell (when most people would be most desperate to hook it up) when it's at the point it's being worked the hardest.

And possibly getting warmed up more than usual from both actions.
But like I said... in a pinch. ;)
