that my Hubby got me a blu E-cig for Christmas and I just can't believe how much it is like smoking. I LOVE it! I have done some research and found that nicotine is not a carcinogen but also not great for you, especially working with the things found in typical cigs. I was on American Spirits full flavor for many years and have smoked since I was 16, I am 42 now.
My mother passed in January of lung cancer, I spent the last year of her life home hospicing her and it was the most painful, and wonderful, thing I have ever done. Painful watching her die from this AWFUL disease, day by day, but wonderful in the way that we had that year together to talk and be together, though the last few weeks were very difficult.... My father died suddenly, so we never had that.
We were always together since I was born, for 41 years... She had smoked since very young as well. Her dying wish for me was to quit, we were extremely close and it's still taken me this long to be able to think about quitting. Awful, I know... Long story and a lot of excuses, but since my hubby got me this E-cig I haven't smoked one full cigarette, that is two full days!
Anyway, I am sure I will post a lot more here, this is just my intro and so far I love the e-cig and plan on lowering the nicotine level until I am on none. I suppose it's sort of like the patch but still being able to have the sensation of smoking?
I am not sure why so many would put it down, I would think you could smoke these forever on the very low nicotine level without getting cancer...
Anyway, nice to meet you all.
