Does the 25 plus with top air leak when you stand it top-side down with juice in the tank? Curious for myself...
NO! Let me take a picture so you can better understand what is going on. Well first ill explain. There are actually 2 chimneys one that you see in the center then another that you see from the outside. between this is the top airflow so the top actually pulls down into the chamber prior to coming BACK up through the inner chimney. if that makes sense if not then ill try and take pictures.

So you can see how the air flow works hopefully you will see the silver ring near the top of the tank in the first picture that is the inner baffel. then you have the outside of the chimney and an air channel gap in between.

leads up the chimney which is sealed by o-rings away from the juice and you see the gaps that lead to the inside of that inner chimney then there are gaps in the cap where the air flow ring opens and closes (with clicks/resistance)

I took a picture of my messy build deck earlier when i was changing cotton

So from there you see the great size of build deck, tall air flow, and then on the bottom of the build deck you have large juice inlets that you just lay your cotton over same way you would but cotton in the base of a RDA. Way better wicking i love it.

If you close the top air flow and bottom airflow you will not be able to pull squat through the tank. the 25+ comes with a derlin top entire top cap molded as a driptip and cap but i dont like the threading on it this would be nice if it threaded on easier as i dont use the air flow. It is better than the regular 25 because the top airflow on that never seemed to stay closed where this one clicks and says closed much better with more resistance. Hope i answered any and all questions

My other posts may seem off as i thought you asked if it leaked juice from the top at first or i mis-read it anyway.

I think that my Griffin 25 has issues with the chimney orings not seating correctly thus allowing juice to escape through the mouthpiece when it was upside down with juice in it... Wondered if that changed. Thought it would be good info for the OP.
When i switched from a Steamcrave Aromamizer to the Griffin (22) i was stoked! When i switched from the 22 to the 25 i was stoked, Now that i have the 25+ i cannot find a fault, other than if you dont want the airflow, you have to use the derlin single piece cap/drip tip and the threading can be wonky getting plastic threaded into SS. But the airflow doesnt bother me like it did on the 25 because it would always accidentally come open and other crap. I love it! If you like the Griffin 22 or 25 you will LoVE the Griffin 25+

Wait, dang, the griffin has top air flow. That is something I don't want unless I can completely plug it up. It has proven to be a gimmick for many years and I have never vaped one that was actually good. Anyone know of kind of a griffin 25+ with a short 3ml tank version? I don't mind refilling frequently for the added flavor.

the top airflow is adjustable all the way to closed off. It has resisting click in place unlike the 25 or you can use the non airflow top that comes with it.

the wicking is the big difference it is so simple now and because it has a bottom deck you don't have to fill with exact amt of cotton to not flood/leak but still vape like previous 2 models. The airflow tubes also seem to make flavor slightly better than previous 2.

I don't know of a 3 ml version clone or otherwise

Sorry, I saw the differences explained after I posted. It was released back about 1 vape cycle ago so I wonder if a 3ml version or a ++ version is around the corner. I hate finicky wicking, I don't want to think about the money in all the atties I have sitting around lol but I need supreme ease of use. Comparability with temp control would be great. I was going through all my atties and I found a wotofo with a silver plated 510 and it was dead on, not 1 single flicker on the ohm meter in escribe. So maybe there is something to silver/gold plated high conductivity metals.

I am not a TC guy been waiting for tech on it to become more solid. Biggest thing geekvape does is take awesome elements/attributes that other tanks perfect and puts it all in one build.

top fill
huge airflow
juice control
click lock airflow
can take tank full of juice off to work on build
the newest wicking/juice well design
top air flow does make a diff just depends on build and flavor

No need to wait my friend, its the promise of SS and Ti and stuff that has thrown a monkey wrench in the business. Good ol Ni200 will vape down to white cotton and I use twisted coils and dual coils and I am by no means an advanced coil builder. I dream one day of seeing what a clapton is like, I bet it rocks (I regret that, im posting it anyways  )
