Keep enjoying the
vaping, smoke when you need to, and don't worry about "trying" to get it right, because there is no right. I started by having a cigarette when I needed one, and smoked and vaped for the first six weeks, cutting down from 1-1/2 packs to about 5-10 a day, then 1-3, then none. Didn't plan it, it just worked itself out. Will also say that I started with a 901, then added a 510. Then went to a KR8080D-1 (with greencig carts) which made cigarettes completely unnecessary for me, though I still carry around a pack so I know I can if I want, but haven't been tempted.
I think one trick, which quite a few folks have mentioned, is to not worry about using low-nic to start. Having enough nicotine seems to be key to really adjusting to the "new way" of smoking(
vaping). Now that I've been completely off cigarettes (by choice for once, no stress or feelings of deprivation) for over a month I have lowered the mg., but I think the higher levels are more helpful in the beginning. I still can't believe I have completely stopped smoking without regrets (and if I do have a quick urge I just have to think of that year-old pack of cigarettes in my purse and the idea of actuallly lighting one makes the urge vanish - funny that).
As to costs for all this new "stuff," calculate what you spend each week on cigarettes and you'll find that adding a new model e-cig to the arsenal is definitely a cost saver in the long run.
Good luck and just keep at it, making adjustments as you go. It's not about keeping up with someone else's schedule, it's about what works for you.
