so over the weekend, i was testing blu disposable. i can definitely feel the difference. i mean, i can breather easier, and lot of little issues i had with my health seems to melt away. specially the on going head ache is had for last 7 yrs or so. don't feel as tired, and i actually got up feeling very good. i'm back on analog until i can find better solution than the blu. i never admitted to being addicted to nic, but i guess i am.

Congrats on trying to make the switch! I too started with a Blu disposable, I was recovering from back surgery and was bedridden for about 2 weeks, so I couldn't go outside to smoke. I ended up ordering an Kanger EVOD starter kit from ebay and I haven't looked back since!

MY advice is to get a good starter kit like that or maybe an MVP and a good topper like a Nautulis or Kanger Aerotank. Both are pretty cheap and a good starting point to get you off the stinkies!

Welcome !!! You can get the MVP 2.0 ckquatt mentioned on ebay for under $40 & a Kanger Aerotank for under $20 delivered to your house, including shipping, in 3 or 4 days from a reputable US seller. VV/VW power supply & adj air flow are VERY important to get the most satisfying vape out of your juice. I would suggest going to a local B&M so you can "try before you buy" juice and then don't buy any huge bottles because your taste buds are gonna heal & change. You'll progress in both hardware & juice. Probably get a case of "shinitus", most of us do !! LOL Congrats on getting off of the analogs !!!!!!!

Get an eLeaf iStick (about $35), top it off with a Nautilus mini (about 25 bucks), get some spare vertical coil atomizers for the Nautilus, some e-juice and you're good to go.
If there's a vape shop nearby, go sample flavors until you find a few you like. You will have an initial investment of about $75, but you'll recoup that in about 2 weeks by not buying cigarettes.

I would have to second the Evod starter kit for cost-effectiveness alone. Note that overall cost doesn't just include gear; e-liquids do cost money, whether or not you make your own, and your power bill will probably go up a penny a month to charge that sucker. ;)

I wish I had started on something like an Evod or Protank. Ego CE4's are pretty bad...

I would go with the MVP2.0. If you don't like box mods maybe the Vamo V5... Either way the Aspire Nautalis or the Kangertech Aerotank is the attomizer way 2 go... I also started with the Blu kit and upgraded 2 ego batteries which kept quiting on me... That's when I got the MVP2.0 and it's been awesomely reliable and satisfies my needs... I also have friends with Vamos that have no issues with them... The only reason I didn't get one was their connection issues at the time and the fact that if its dropped it might be done for

Welcome to a little taste of the vaping world. I smoked death sticks for 14 years. I've been smoke free since Jan 4th 2014. Vaping saved my life, stick with it I know it will save your life. I started with a ego twist and a Kanger pro tank 2. I then picked up a mechanical mod k100 and Nautilus tank. I recommend any of these to get started. Remember this will save your life, so you can begin living again.

Im interested, does blu have nicotine in it as well?

Yes the Blu has nicotine. As does the Njoy and the Vuse.

Some people really like those products and they do help them quit or get the foot into the vaping world before they upgrade. There are plenty of other cigalike products that can be ordered online as well. Some are refillable with the liquid of your choice.
If Cigalikes are what you want I would ask here or start a thread about what other would suggest :)

Blue works. only problem is, they are expensive. two packs of Marlboro is around $11 here. single Blu disposable is $12.50. and i went through Blu in about 2 days. two packs or Marlboro last me about 3-4 days. so i read up on mechanical mods and RDA and placed order for them. the initial investment is around $100 or less. that's mod, atty, wire, battery, battery charger, cotton, and e liquid. you will need some sort of multimeter or something to test your coil set up. there are warning signs of using mech mod all over the place. you really need to read up on how to set them up properly. if you draw too much from the battery, they can go boom. only way to control the current and all the electrical thing is by building the coil that can have proper resistance. and getting right battery isn't as easy as it sounds. too many fakes out there from what i'm reading. i still haven't ordered battery and the chargers. charger is the easy part. but battery.. there's efest which is repackaged LG or Sony..there is Sony which fakes are all over the place.. there are LG and Samsung which are not rated as high as Sony.. after reading ton about them, i'm leaning towards LG or Samsung. i'm planning to build coils are .7-.8 ohm and that will run far under 20 A they are rated for. just sitting around and waiting for the shipment to come in.. it will be around mid Nov.. yeah.. ordered it from FT,and all the things i wanted (meaning cheap) are on 7 day shipping delay.
