Good Morning Fellow Vapor'ers!
OK So here I sit; waiting…
I ordered my ProVari V2 yesterday. I'm so excited that I have already updated my signature banner!

My Story seems to be rather generic so if you want just ship to the next paragraph. I started with some overpriced "Mall Bought" e-cig system just over 10 months ago. That lasted me about 2 months until I was just getting floored with the cost of refill cartos. I then moved to the 510 eGo and have loved it. But I wanted better and more. I have been reading on the ECF about VV Mods and after extensive research as well as large amounts of YouTube and ECF video watching I decided to spend the extra money on the ProVari.

I was hoping that there were some vets of the ProVari out there that could share their thoughts on what works best for the ProVari. I want to experiment with a carto tank mod. I work in a hospital so getting the syringes will be no problem. Right now with my eGo system I am a fan of Fluxomizers at 2.8 ohms. I also have several already filled 3 ohm ones that just didn't seem to work with the eGo. I am going to hold onto them for my ProVari. My main concern is what works best for you (atty ohm level and voltage settings). I was also wondering if you could give a realistic idea of how long your preference usually lasts you before needing to replace the usual expendable items.

As for my e-juice of choice so far, I am a fan of tobacco flavors. My absolute favorite right now is from goodejuice.com called Max Ultimate VG (enter shout out here: Thank you Nick!). I have quite a collection of ejuice flavors right now an I am hoping that from what I have seen so far that my ProVari will bring the life back into the flavors I have on hand. My Ego with LR attys seems to cause a burnt taste from the get go.

You're going to love it.

Well I'm not exactly a veteran, but I have played around with a lot of different carto's to see what I liked best. I found 3ohm boges work the best on the provari. I've tried every ohm single & duel, even triple's. Nothing seems to produce & be more flexible then a 3ohm single coil. If I need more intense I crank it up. If I want cooler, mellow, just turn it down. They perform well at all the V2 settings.

Defiantly throw them in a tank. Also, they now make longer boge single coils that will fit in dc tanks. The tube's are 45mm, 50mm total.

Have to agree.

3 ohm Boges rock on the Vari.

I also agree. As far as tanks go, Mom and Pop's Vapor Shop have some mini sub tanks with 3 hole punched Boge 3.0 ohm cartos. They're 12.99 assembled, and you can buy some extra punched cartos as well (although changing them on this tank is a bit of a PITA compared to other tanks.)

Anyway, welcome to Provari World! I can feel your excitement just like my own a short while ago. And I'm really loving it!

I can't really give any opinions on any other cartos aside from the boge 3 ohms. I saw them highly recommended so got a grip of em and have been incredibly pleased with them so far, I really see no reason to try anything else. Vaping some AVE tobacco juices at 5-5.3v and the taste and vapor production is fantastic. It feels good to not worry about "what's next" or even having to think about upgrading! I'd highly recommend getting a tank as well, there are quite a few good options out there, for as much or as little $$ as you want to spend.

3ohm Boge cartos or 2ohm! http://www.vaporbeast.com/cartomizers_s/1828.htm $59 bucks, free shipping or $19.95 for 20.
Get a Liquinator tank from Vaporecence or something like it! 3mL
Madvapes.com juice prices are like $10 bucks for 50 ml. TopVapor USA E-Liquid

You will love your Provari, 3 ohm cartos will give you the best chance to explore your VV device!

i love dripping myself, and since i got my first Provari over a year ago - first run fall '10, I've had a Provari in my face everyday, and learned a lot about vaping... metering everything in sight :) i owe all my skills to Provape LOL.
imo the Provari is ideal for carto/tank vaping - set it and forget it.
My favorite carto, aside from the SR Boge, is the Iken Fusion SR... if i had to vape a cartomizer, that's what i'd vape, and in a tank on the Vari, man talk about plumes, clouds of vapor.
I always felt that dripping has the edge in flavor, but seems most don't want to bother with it; it has a learning curve.
There are so so many different atomizers to try these days including the unspeakably expensive one, which i won't mention...heheh, and I would be remiss to not mention the rebuildables that go with the Provari, in fact Zen is building one just for the Vari... yah.
Rebuilds are a whole other story/lifetime and they are even more unspeakably expensive and effort intensive imo...

I have quite a few good mods, but with the new Provari (congrats), you just can't go wrong.

To everyone who responded to my post,
Thank you so very much!
My order will be here on Monday I cannot wait. The order comes with 3.0 ohm cartos and I am going to get some boges later (seems to be the growing consensus). You have all been uber helpful and I owe you all one. Just let me know!

My favorite set-up would have to be the Smoktech XL 3ohm cartos with my Phiniac XL tank. The thing that differentiates this tank from others is that it's made out of thick Pyrex that has been annealed. Which makes it durable and along with the various styles that they offer. It's also a piece of art.

Another benefit of Pyrex is that you can use any type of juice that you want in it. And not worry about it cracking the tubing or the poly leaching into the juice.

I would suggest anyone that has a Provari give them a look:

Phiniac Rugged Pyrex Glass Tanks

IMO if your gonna get a high-end mod then you might as well get a high-end tank.
