I Can Suddenly Hardly Taste My Juice! Just Tastes Yucky!! Help!

Wow, I've read of this happening. No matter the juice, it just hardly has any flavor and it's driving me nuts! Just started happening today. I've even tried straight menthol. I can taste that, but it's not satisfying at ALL. I'm definitely not feeling satisfied with anything I'm dripping.

!!! :censored: !!!

Anyone have an tips to help me get past this? Wish now I'd bought some of VapeRite's Orange Cream or something. Been vaping BWB's Espresso and VapeRite's Bananas Foster and English Toffee. Tried a couple of the fruit-type juices I have I don't normally vape (can taste chemical taste in most other juices except from VapeRite and Backwoods Brew). Nothing works. UGH!! :-x

Happened to me yesterday. Started about 10:30 in the morning. I'm vaping 4 different PVs with 4 different juices. They all tasted the same. Weak and watery. And it seemed like they all became 0 nicotine.

Some things you can try:

1. Brush your teeth and your tongue
2. Eat something
3. Drink a beer (this works best for me, the alcohol seems to cleanse the palate)
4. Don't vape for 30 minutes or an hour if you can go that long.
5. Yeah, try some of that Wyatt Earp juice. Nothing hides that flavor, LOL.
6. Blow out your attys and charge up your battys
7. Drink some water

Hope one of those things works for you. Or try them all. Although its a little early for #3.

Today, the taste and flavor are back for me. It just happens sometimes.

That doesn't help me, but thanks anyway. ;)

Strange thing is, nothing tastes good! Just ....ehhh. So strange. :(
Sounds like you Taste buds went south for a bit. Try vaping a menthol for a while to cleanse your palatte and make sure your atties arent contaminated with something. Ive had it where a couple days go by and cant taste anything or it all tastes off and it usually comes back fine but have found a bad attie or two to be the culprit also

I've had this happen several times. Honestly nothing really helped other than getting a good nights sleep and finding my taste buds have come back the next day. Like Lisa, I've found its a good day to vape something I'm not all that thrilled with as I can't taste it anyways and I'm not wasting my favorite flavors.

Well MtnLioness, your answer is in one of these posts above somewhere.

We all go through this now and then. Most times my lost flavor is either the atty is starting to decline in performance (eventually they all die) and/or your battery is running down below optimum voltage. With that said, for comparison, change to a NEW atty, not one laying in your draw that may also be not up to par and swap to a fully charged battery.

For me, sometimes I lose the flavor of one of the juices(never completely though, it just becomes less intense), but if I switch and start vaping a different one, I can taste it just fine. Then when I go back to the one I couldn't taste, it's nice and intense again. Also, I don't know about the juices you're vaping, but I only vape Vapor Renu, double shot, 100% VG juices.

I'm going thru this right now too.

Everything tastes like metal.

Dooter, blow out your atty and tap it on the table with a paper towel under it. Do it several times. Blow & tap. Then put the corner end of the paper towel into the atty and wipe gently. Also wipe around the cartridge outside where it fits into the atty. Now drip a couple of drops of juice on the atty. I have found this to work sometimes.
What I have noticed especially on my mega cartridges is that condensation builds up between the inside of the atty and the outside around the cart causing the juice to have that watery weak taste.

Okay, I'm going to try that... I've been blowing it out, but not wiping it out. Thanks!

Oh yeah, that's another thing I forgot to mention. It helps to clean the atomizers, too. I've noticed that some flavors seem to stick to the atomizer, they just won't go away. Other times, the atomizer will taste burnt after just a few puffs, which usually means I need to drip again. However, when I do, I end up flooding the atomizer. If this happens to you, it's time to clean your atomizer. I blow mine out and soak them in rubbing alcohol, then rinse with hot water, let dry, and do a little dry burn. Good as new.
