wicking is an art. too much and you might get burnt taste, too little and.. well, haven't ran into problem with too little yet. just got a artisan wire winding tool thing for easier coil building. hope tensioner coil will some how make things better.

kayfun type deck so to speak as many refer it to being very easy to build,the Taifun GT is similar but the wicking of the two is not the same.

beautiful. haven't tried them yet. still trying out different liquids.
Each type has its place. The stovetop puts out amazing amount of vape (a .5 ohm can put out as much/more then a .3 ohm micro or macro coil), the Clapton puts out amazing flavor... Like a twisted wire but better (quite a bit harder to make ).... The hydra... That's just fun

you are right. they are different. taifun gt is little tricky if you wick it with cotton. you have to make sure the wick on the chamber slot is big enough to prevent leaking, yet not to thick too prevent liquid flow. but taifun gt is worth the effort. just got taifun gt ii clone in. i'll have to set it up to see if it's as good as aqua v2. before aqua v2, tfgt was my favorite.
I have been using the Kanger subtank exclusively for close to a week now,same .58 head that came pre-installed.
Try the kanger sub tank...... You will be amazed...puts any kayfun type rta to shame

In fact, the only reason I want an aqua v2 is to run on my DNA30 and istick for higher Nic juices

The Aqua V2 I gave it a good rinsing but that's as far as I have gotten with it.
I don't think the Kanger Subtank puts Kayfun's to shame at all. I have cloned Kayfun lite's, Kayfun 4 and 3.1's. They all vape good and Kayfun's are a heck of a lot cheaper. Who wants to go and work all day and beatup a $60 tank. Subtank looks goofy (I think) on a 18650 mod. I see now FastTech had some sub Ohm kits for Kayfun's. Sold out of them in one day. That will change there game now. CHEERS!
Bullet,does the version 2 of the Taifun still have the same type of deck with the collapsible type sleeve?Billow,Aqua V2,Orchid V4,Fogger 5 i got them but I have not attempted to build them yet.

i haven't used any regulated mod before. mainly i like simple things. it doesn't get any simpler than mech mod.

tfgt ii still has same deck. i read there are more improvements, but more air flow is the major one.
so took a little time off and put tfgt 2 on my penny. this thing is nice. it doesn't have open draw compare to aqua 2, but it has much more flavor at least to me. build is straight forward. nothing complicated. nice and mellow cool vape. goes nice with my penny clone. both 23mm.
I have been extremely lazy past few days,but the Aqua V2 will be my next project its just waiting on me.
wicking aqua v2 is tricky. if you pack the channel, it will not wick fast enough and you'll get burnt taste. if you don't pack it enough, it will leak. there are some videos on how to split the tails and using only half in the channel.

I am working with a clone,one of the vent holes has a screw in it I suppose if you want to run just a single coil leave the screw in,two coils take screw out,trying to find a decent video on a build for it now.I don't think that the Aqua comes with a drip tip that's not a major issue I'm working with the Tobeco clone.
