This is all so encouraging! I love the freedom to keep my knitting out all day and celebrated my radical decrease in analogs by bringing out my spindle and buying some new roving to spin into yarn...no worries about odors because (trust me) nothing absorbs smells like wool! I still have the occasional analog but I can do that outdoors (even in the snow and cold and dark of night) because it's so rare an occurrence now. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, it's only a matter of time now and I'm content to let it happen in due course. Too many other things to do and spend my money on! Speaking of which, I can hardly wait for out next dive trip! I hadn't thought of that...no wind blowing ashes everywhere, no frustration over matches blowing out, and no worries about IF or WHERE the smoking area is! Of course, I don't think my luggage will be lightened by not packing cigarettes but no concerns over carton limits will definitely balance that!
