I can't remember the brand!

Sometime back, I ordered some batteries and cartridges from a company that I now can't remember the name of. I tried them based on positive comments made here, stating that the batteries were very similar to Bloog and Volt. The only hint that I can give that might help identify the batteries that I am speaking of is that they were generic in appearance....did not have the company name or logo on the batteries. Does anyone here have any idea of the company I may be speaking of? My memory is failing me!

Did they have a rubberized finish or a classic metalic finish? How far back are we talking. After the regulated gen2s? Are the center posts of the battery solid or do they have a hole in the middle?

Elite vaporwoks sells the same gen2 batteries as volt and bloog do now. Elite Vaporworks Batteries - Signature Series 808

Charlz, I think about a year ago...I went to the site and realized it was not them, but I might give the batteries a try. They appear to have good prices...didn't get far enough into it to see if the shipping is free, or costly. Do you know anything about their cartos?

Typical horizontal coil cartos that you would find at bloog and smokeless image, good quality- they just don't make a big deal about it and their shipping is free.
Do you remember if the company you ordered from specialized in the 808 or was it one of the product lines.....?

Thanks to all of you for your help and suggestions, but I am still stuck! Oh well.....
The Volt, Smoketip, Bloog, etc. all have their name on the battery, and the company that I can't recall had a very plain battery, no writing at all on them. OH! Their cartos may have come in a clear little plastic container, instead of a box with each carto enclosed in a little foil wrap to punch out. I suppose it doesn't really matter if I remember or not, it just bugs me that I can't! I have lots of other KR808D-1 batteries that I have used and liked before to choose from, as well as some possible new adventures, some referred to by all of you! Thanks again for your support!

my first guess was elite.

my next guess is its Halo. they might not have had the logo back then. they are the ones who are binned next after Bloog and Volt.

Dear hs, Charlz, and Kemosabe,
I just discovered that it WAS Elite Vaporworks! When I went back the website did not look familiar, and when I tried my login/password, it was invalid, appearing that I had not shopped there before. Whenever I order from anywhere, I create a login and password for future orders. I must have just had a "typo" or something when I did that test. Thank you, and you all had the right answer. I hope that you didn't exhaust too much mental energy trying to help me! If so, please forgive me for not believing in your answers. Now that I have re-discovered the Elite "Signature Series" (minus the signature) I plan to place another order with them! Thanks to you all!

No exhaustion. They were just the only ones I know of that sell the same quality gen2 as the rest but sans branding. When you mentioned plastic box for the cartos, I was a little more convinced it was them. Cheaper without all the branding but then they run the risk of folks forgetting where they purchased.
This is a good thread. They deserve a shout every now and then. They don't really get the press as the rest because they are so quiet about it.
