Occasionally, people try to talk down to me because I've replaced smoking with vaping. So here's the deal:

I was a pack a day smoker, times 365 days= 7300 cigarettes.

If e-cigarettes are 1000 times safer, my complete replacement strategy has reduced my consumption to an analog equivalency of 7.3 cigarettes per year.

Or 0.608333 cigarettes per month.

And not a damn thing is going to make me feel guilty about that.

These idiots are gonna have to find another way to make me care about whatever rubbish they think.

Who cares what anybody thinks about your vaping. When people talk down to you they are only trying to make themselves look better than you. Ignore them. You know what the savings and health benefits are and I personally saved over $10,000.00 in just my first 2 years of vaping - and that is all that matters to me.

Seriously, a few nights ago I heard some local idiot ranting about the "dangers of nicotine", in regards to ecig use. So I googled "nicotine poisoning deaths per year" and got nothing. Plenty of info about how dangerous nicotine is, no metrics about how many people die yearly from it.

It's not even worth counting.

Then there's 400,000 Americans that die every year from smoking and smoking-related illness.

Where do these people get off pontificating about subjects they are so clearly uninformed about?

We all deal with idiots in different ways.
Personally, my motto is that I don't engage in conversations with idiots.
Don't even make eye contact with an idiot because eye contact is
is a form of communication.

Idiots love conversations because it validates them as if what they
think is important.

Its not always immediately obvious when encountering an idiot.
However, it doesn't take long to figure it out. I will often turn my
back and refuse to talk to them and if they persist...I will just walk
away and not look back. No reply is a form of communication.

Well, you could look up how long it takes lungs to heal themselves depending on how long you've been smoking, and then break it down and calculate how much they're healing every day without cigarettes

I know, i hate when people are like why dont you just smoke. I actually had one person say that one looks like a loser doing it, i think your much more of a loser being addicted to cigarettes and having to smell like an ashtray all day!
