Yep you got it I am a little aggravated.

Today makes the 4th time that I have posted elsewhere asking questions and people look at my posts, but don't answer them, then they get lost into thread oblivion. When I post here you all answer me and are very helpful in my still noob/stupid ways, so I will ask it here. :)

Bought two eGo 650 mAh kits from Liberty Flights (they had a sale I couldn't pass up at the time), and we are loving them. (we've had them for two weeks)
I have of course as many people done research on this PV and that Pv, but still going back to the eGo every time.
What I need help on is understanding more about buying the Mega carts, and attys.

If I buy these for our current ones will they drain the battery life quicker?
Is there one brand that is better than another?
I totally don't want to do LR because from what I understand they eat up your battery. Is this true?

We are currently using carts, and our attys. I kinda want something to where we don't have to fill as often and what have you. It's not that Kat and I are lazy, but just looking to get the best vape and what have you. I think you get what I mean?

Yes I do want to soon order the bigger batteries, but I currently doing the crazy stock buying of juices, getting exta attys, and carts (thanks to T talking me into buying bigger bottles.) Once I get this next order done, which does include 4 more attys, and whistle tips, then I will be looking into getting stocked up on bigger batts, and the above mentioned items. :)

If I seem a little redundant, or what have you its because my brain is over fried. lol

I can't help you with the attys, as I only use cartomizers. The EGO Mega Cartomizers are really nice and last a long time but you do have to fill them with a syringe. They hold almost 2ml of juice.

You don't need an atty with the MEGA cartos but if you want to use the MEGA cartridges you have to have a MEGA atty - they are available in cone and cylindrical shapes.

The MEGA cartos are whistle-tip and it's kinda like smoking a cigar, but they have a really good taste and last a long time.

Here's a link to the cartos on the FSUSA site: FreedomSmokeUSA

I have the 650mAh eGo from LF. I have found at this point is I like the eGo XL cartomizers. I have tried the cartridges, 306 cartos, and even the C-E2's. The E2 R4's are not my cup of tea if you ask me. Every single one I broke into had that darned burnt taste. If I can get ahold of it, I would like to try the eGo tank that has recently been put out. But right now, I either use the 306's or the XL cartomizers.

shell i am guilty of looking at your posts but not answering only because i dont want to give a bad answere i do not know much about the mega carts because i am a dripper mostley but i can comment on the LR attys as i recieved one accidentley and without knowing it was differant used it. and wow big differance.

i do not think the LR atty effects the battery at all but you do use more juice and in my case i vape more with an LR so the battery doesnt last as long without needing to be recharged.

now as far as the effects of a LR atty i would say it makes your ego act like a 5 volt mod, kind of the differance between an ultra light 100 analog vs a marlboro red. i now have a buzz mod so it isnt an issue but i can never go back to a regular atty on my ego, just not the same anymore.

I haven't used either because I drip. But my understanding is neither draw more power than the standards. They're just larger. I can't recall seeing anyone other than Joye with the megas. I know Ikenvape sells certain cartos in a mega size but you'd have to buy the appropriate adapter.

We do carry the Mega Carts but I'm not sure about the cartos. I'll check and edit if we do.

Yes, LRs are great but they are battery killers. However if you want to use them as many of us do, you can get an inexpensive mod. I know of a couple places that sells no frills box mods for under $40.

Hope this helps.

Okay I just went to the site to check, we do also carry both the Mega cartos and the drip tips for them.

okay
um I noticed often times when someone asks a question that's been asked a dozen or so times already, they might not get an answer because ppl are tired of answering the same questions over and over and over again. It takes just as much energy to write a frustrating post as it does to do a simple search for the information you need.

Not to be a jerk, just figured you wanted an honest answer.

Oh thanks so much for answering guys!! This helps tons and probably just swayed Kat and I over to using the Mega cartos.

So how many do you guys usually order or keep on hand?
How long or how many times can you refill them?

Now on the cartos we have to take the top off and then put the syringe down through one of the holes of the other insert correct? (wow that's hard to type out.)

I do have to say that I am really looking to a different/easier way to do all of this because we find ourselves making a mess, and washing our hands about a hundred times a day. I just want to fill and go. I also have to say that I like the way that the Megas make the eGo look, and love the whistle tips.
I do have a couple of syringes on our next order for Jan, but I am wondering if we don't want to order some on our Christmas order.

Yeah I have been keeping an eye on the eGo Tank, but I have to say I am going to have to see some more reviews on it before I buy. There was one guy that was having some major problems with it spraying juice into his mouth. Might just be that he was one to get one that wasn't made so well. That and I heard that these are going to be crazy expensive. I do hope that David gets the 1000 mAh eGo batts sometime though. :)

Shell, you can use an LR Atty no problem with your Ego, the problem seems to be the LR's heating up the PCB from people chain vaping more then anything else and getting the Batt so hot it melts the PCB, Take a couple pulls give it a break, take a few a break, works fine, personally I rotate and use two Ego's at once, well truth be told more like 20 of them hahah but really if you just use 2 and rotate and LR Atty will be fine.

As far as carts go you maybe should give a dripping tip a try, it is a pretty good way of using an LR Atty and I've used cart and compared to dripping, for the 6-8 puffs you get off your cart and the time you spend pulling that cart off and refilling, its much easier to just drip drip drip 6-8 drops of liquid into your drip tip and vape away, this way your not pulling that cart off constantly all the time, give it a try, plus you always have a fresh tasting vape all the time with dripping

I actually like this particular forum (not just FSUSA section) because of the fact that people don't scream at you to use the search function even if a question has been asked and answered because "most" people know that the search on this site is horrible and you have to take 10 hours to find an answer to something that someone can answer in 10 minutes.

The only thing I want to add is that in my own experience with the eGo mega cartomizers on the LF eGos and rivas is that you may have to trim a bit off of the end of the cartomizer to ensure that the battery connection hits every time.

The MEGA cartos last me a good 6 or 8 refills. I would order one for each flavor you regularly use, as there is no way to wash these out and I wouldn't want to mix flavors. I have posted the instructions below straight from the FSUSA website but from my own experience I have edited it in red.

1. Move the plastic caps away from the cartomizer one after another by a needle-like object. You also need to tear the thin (this is not THIN - it is very tough to pierce the first time!) film over the injecting hole (CENTER HOLE) at the first time. 2. Slowly and carefully inject about 1.8ml e-juice into the cartomizer through the injecting hole. Do not overfill it, otherwise the e-juice might leak out. 3. Put 2 small caps and rubber things back to their place, spin the cartomizer a few times, so that the e-juice inside could be distributed better. 4. Put it aside for a few minutes, clean the mouthpiece and threads, and then screw it onto the eGo battery full of power. Enjoy it!

Also - if you add too much jiuce and it starts to drop out the batt end just pull back on the syringe and it will draw some of the excess back out and it won't be wasted. I don't spin but that is just my preference.

Hope this helps!

yeah I like that they are 4 bucks. How many would I need to get the two of us through a month? I am on disability so I have to make sure that we have everything we need. I am thinking that possibly 10 or 20? I know that's a crazy amount, but we are still figuring out what are our all day vapes and what not.

And yeah believe me I understand people getting frustrated over answering the same question over and over, but sometimes its hard to find things. That's why I hope in the future to do what others have on having links saved to where I can help them and just post where to go for reading up on what they are answering. It only takes a couple of seconds to copy and paste a link. :)

Oh and it is understandable about some not answering the thread. I won't answer if I don't know the information as well. I just find it sad when I see peoples threads disappear like some of mine have.

And sorry all if I seem a little grumpy or what have you. Just one of my days where I am not feeling all that great.

We have thought about doing that to and might be adding a couple of drip tips to our order as well. It's just a crazy hassle to keep pulling the tip off, drip a couple drops on the atty, fill the cart, wipe it all off, put the tip on right, then prime and vape. lol

You are correct. Any time I even just type in freedomsmokesusa I get a couple of hits on new threads, and get a whole lot of other stuff I didn't even ask to search for. It is just easier to ask than have to sit and go through pages and pages of stuff I didn't even ask for.

Yeah that does help. I just need to fashion something to do the tarin spin with them. There was this one guy that used his cap to fill the carto, but I couldn't get it to work on the cartos we have, and I am just waiting on getting the syringes to be able to fill them properly. Hum... What to do about having so many different flavors that we have right now? lol I will be glad when we have our favorite flavors down so we don't have so many different bottles around.

Thanks for posting this as it helps. :)

if you go with a drip tip dont make the same mistake i made, alot of the cheaper drips tips offer a hole big enough to drip into but the drips touch the sides of the tip on the way down wich usually ends up getting that taste in your mouth so i find myself removing the tip often to clean it wich defeats the purpose and i know will not make you happy.

check out Super T Manufacturing, Innovative manufacturer of electronic cigarette products. a bit more expensive but definatley solves the problem.

Oh I have been looking at his steel whistle drip tips and going back and forth on if I wanted a couple of those or not. I mean it is worth the money with it being steel and honestly you would never have to buy another. Well unless you dropped it and stepped on it, or ran over it. lol

So here is what we are thinking of doing. Getting enough of the whistle cartos to last the month only for our big all day vapes. Then the drip tips for our trial juices. Now just to add up how many cartos we will need. Oh my poor poor brain. lol

MWA, yep... I'm a chain vaper which I'm sure contributed to the demise of so many ego/rive/hello batts. Your avvie may be outdated:D Have you added the Buzz or Provari to your collection?

Bass, We have to realize that new people come to ECF daily, just like we did at one time. It doesn't hurt to at least lead them to relevant threads.

However whenever you come into a supplier's forum and ask a question about their product, it doesn't matter how many times it may have already been asked. Customers deserve service. But it is not the forum members responsibility, it's the responsibility of that forum's supplier and/or associates.
