I'm new tot his whole thing and I've been trying to do some research to see what would be the best e-cig for me to get. I found out about them through a blucig advertisement but I thought that there would be better out there. My problem is that I don't really understand ANY of what I'm reading around here and I keep looking at the vendors and not really seeing or finding out what I need. I'd just like something close enough to the same size as a ciggerette, black preferably, and is relatively easy to use. I've seen a lot of opinions in a lot of differant places and though that I'd try my luck in asking if anyone would be able to help me out.

Get an Evo as a first E-cig... It`s with the size of a regular e-cig, you`ll get a good throat hit, a lot of vapor and decent battery liffe...
Get some e-liquid as well
You`ll like it, it`s a pretty good e-cig and I`m happy it was my first device, I still use it a lot
See some of the Video reviews made by Igetcha and Terraphon in the Videos section...
Once you get the first e-cig (and I guarantee with the EVO you cant go wrong at all) you`ll have some time to consider a second device,
Most mebers would recommend you to get two different PVs/e-cigs I mean..as well

I dont know who the ballers are, I just moved here a few months ago. I'm just lucky to have a job. And, erm. Whats an evo? Thats why I kinda worked up the nerve to post [forums make my brain hurt]. And where can I get e-liquid? I mean. I've just been looking around the forum for the past few days and I've really just gotten a headache from trying to figure out what exactly I NEED and where to get it.
To keep it simple Intellicig EVOLUTION or EVO is a e-cig manifactured by an UK company and it was my first e-cig... I am still pleased with it. You relly need to check this out

Various suppliers in the US sell it.. They have e-liquid/e-juice/ as well. You`re going to use it to refill the cartridges/filters with it once they run dry and there is no more vapor coming out when you inhale.
There are different techniques for using the e-liquid as well but you need to read some information as well.

I was right where you are two months ago. Just got a Titan Tecc.510 starter kit from Electronic Cigarette Company and a couple of bottles of flavored liquid to top off the cartridges that came with it. Took two whole days to get to Seattle. The 510 models seemed to have the better reviews, on average, so I went with one of those. 510 is a common "type", you can find them in a number of places.
Look for a starter kit that has all the components. Better if they have an extra battery and atomizer (or several). Most come with a selection of cartridges, and a power charger of some sort. Avoid BluCigs until they get their inventory issues worked out.
You definitely want a good starter set with enough cartridges and components to get you going. And you definitely want to try out a liquid. Once you have it all, it will make sense. Read some reviews here, and check out a few of the FAQ's. I'm on day two with this stuff and it's real easy to get the hang of.

Here is my experience on how I started vaping and what I have learned. Some have found it helpful, others probably not. I no longer recommend ANY auto switch PV's (personal vaporizers) but only will recommend the manual switch PV's where you push a small button to heat the atomzier as much as you want. Much better throat hit, much more reliable devices and in most cases the batteries only cost $2 to replace instead of $13-$20 to replace and YOU WILL be replacing many, many batteries so factor that into your cost.
One more rule of thumb: the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance by far.

Like all suppliers, the kit comes with two batteries and a charger. Phil does provide two atomizers instead of just one. The battery will last about 2-3 hours before needing recharged. If I was starting out new again and just had to have a PV (personal vaporizer) that looked like a cigarette, I would have gotten the Joye 510/Janty Dura-C because of the manual battery.
Many users like the classic penstyle 801 model which has a larger atomizer and cart and a typical battery charge life of about 4 hours. The draw is lighter, more like a straw (to me) due to having 4 holes in the atomizer and the bigger cart. The 801 is larger and looks more like a big pen instead of regular cigarette. You can also purchase a USB pass-through for both the 901 and 801, which allows you to plug into a usb port on your computer or wall socket adapter and not have to worry about changing batteries. You can then purchase a portable battery pack for the usb pass-through and make your usb power portable. Make sure the power pack is at least 1000mAh power output.
Most users want an PV to provide the “throat hit” that is most like a real cigarette (analog as we call them) as well as long battery life. Many members have stated that one of the best ways to get consistent throat hit is to get a manual switch PV that allows you to push a button and heat up the atomizer more before you inhale. Just want to mention that I only recommended the EVO as kidli wanted an analog like e-cig...which is common sense for a new user
Wow! Thanks for the help guys really! You two just kept me from getting another migraine XD Hopefully now I'll be bale to stop smoking those nasty analogs I've been smoking and do something thats GOOD for me. I think I'm going to start with the Evo, cause its cheap, it looks nice, and if I dont like it, its not a major loss, and I can get some blank carts or get prefilled. I'll prolly call customer service and ask if I can get them mixed and matched so I can start with at least one prefilled.

For the cigarette size (tube type) you mentioned you want, and alot of others beginners think they want too. I suggest you go with the manual Dura-C, Titan, 501, Yeti. They are just a little bigger than a 100's size analoge. Check the many threads and post of other new users such as BlackBirdCD here, and you will probably agree it seems to be a very good start for them.

I forgot to ask though, these atomizers. How fast will I need to replace it? I smoke, generally, about a pack in two or three days [given no one pisses me off XD]. Is there anyway to tell?
There are reports of people having the same atomizers for 5 months and longer and people who have them burn out in a day or two. At first they have a primer fluid on them - you can either burn that off by puffing and not inhaling - tastes terrible - except a few people evidently love it.
Or you could soak in in alcohol - 151 proof Everclear is a popular choice - all clear pure grain alcohol but vodka would do too - no colored or flavored would probably be best. soak for a few hours then blow out each end and let dry on a napkin, blow out again and ready to go. That routine is what some people do for mainenance (including myself) every two or three days - which is why it is suggested to get extra attys (atomizers). Some do no maintenance and report no problems....
You can clean the filler in your cartridges by the same manner but not as often (say once a week) fully dry them before returning to the mouthpiece and filling.

I`ve been rotating 4 atomisers since I started, using 2 of them more than the other 2 (because I got 1 year warranty on them), all of them are in a good shape

You need to take care of the attomisers.. Also I only drip with the Evo, it is just much easier than using carts.

I have two atomizers that came with my starter kit. I just placed a follow up order for some accessories (a portable charging case, or PCC, and some different flavored liquids). With this second order I threw in another atomizer, just to have one on hand. My plan is to have backups, just in case. The cost up front is a bit steep but if you're just filling up with cartridges, liquids and the like, it'll match up to a pack of smokes ever couple of days in no time. And I was smoking about the rate you were, for the record.
Well I'm hoping that it will turn out to be cheaper than cigs in the end. One pack here in DC costs about 6-7 dollars a pack X.x

I dont know what it is I'll need, but dripping doesnt seem like it'd be for me. Thats a lot of work. I just used the innovapor site that you linked me to, and it looked pretty good. I think my problem was I was just browsing through the sponser pages here because I didn't know what model I need/wanted so I didnt know where to look or what was legitimate.

Is there a specific model of atomizer I'm going to need for mine? I just got the Evo model in the starter kit from innovapor. Just curious if there was a place I could get cheaper ones from. And also could I use cartidges and whatnot from a different site than innovapor? Last post for the night. Gotta get up and go to work in the morning.
