i feel like ive spent a ton of money and i have nothing that works great - nothing im overly impressed with. i want to run my smoktech 1.5 ohm dual coils well. although nothing i have seems to run them well. i have a tube with 18650 imrs and my ego t preforms better, actually my ego batteries seem to even run the DCT better... even tho i dont use them on it really cause if i lose my egos im screwed..

so my question is WHAT DO I GET for a reasonable price that can actually satisfy me with the dual coils? i am considering the indulgence it seems like a reasonably priced reliable mod - but now with all these "lavatubes" for cheap popping up idk what to get since VV might be really nice. i just need a mod that is gunna be reliable and wont feel like a cheap flashlight that my battery knocks around in..

any input appreciated

I've had the lavatube since it first come out and I have had ZERO problems with it but I have heard some people talking about the fire button not working or getting stuck and burns up a cartomizer, I also have the BuzzPro and it works just fine just dial it up or down to what ever volts you perfer just do it to taste and I have the ProVari it was gifted to me from a friend so didn't spend my own money on it but it is by far the best of the best but price does reflect that. Good luck with your search!!

Well... that's an honest post! Hang in there.

It took 5 volt box mods for me. Hits like a cig.

VV would be good too. When you evaluate mods... check the amps. For DC's you really want enough amps to drive two 3.2 ohm coils at the same time. So that's 1.6 ohms at 5 volts = 3.3333 amps!!!! Even some of the more generous mods are limited to 3.0 amps.

I don't use DC's tho... I use 3.2 ohm atomizers at 5 volts. No problem with amps then (1.56). I don't need DC at 5 v. The single atty still has plenty of oomph.

Your unnamed 18650 mod would probably be a better performer with high drain IMR batteries (amps again).

Do not buy an indulgence these are more hit and miss than the Lavatube. The lavatube only has issues with LR Dual coils. If you stuff a 2.5 dc or higher its fine. I'm using the 2.5 dcc's now and rocking at 5v or higher. In theory depending on your lavatube (they are inconsistent) you can get to a higher voltage than 5v with a 2.5ohm dcc.

+1 on the nay on the Indulgence... You already have an 18650 tube mod... If its a metal one you should look at the Kick from Evolv... The Kick module with an 18490/18500 IMR battery will turn your current 18650 mod into a variable adjustable wattage device...Know matter what atty/carto you put on you get the same wattage up to 10 watts along with added safety protections not on your current mod.....

why are they hit or miss? do you think a lavatube or a vv tube is gonna hold up better than a indulgence v3? im almost leaning toward the vv tube cause i want a vv device - i just wanna know if its gunna seem like a cheap pv, i want it too last a while - im not very hard on my pvs but i do probably vape 3-4mls a day (if i get the vv tube im gonna ditch the LRs and get boge 3.0s)

If youre ready to get serious with vaping then don't waste anymore money-get yourself a Provari and be done with having to buy a bigger and better pv every other week.

I've learned this the hard way.. well not too bad. Went from kgo, to lavatube, now to a provari which hasn't shipped yet due to the batts being out of stock. I also ordered a small box vv for on the go. I'm paranoid about having 200 bucks in my pocket lol I'm clumsy sometimes.

run mine on a 5v vaprlife turbo... runs like buttah... love it - I don't use the lr's...

5 Volt E-cigs

Either you get a provari now, or you waste more money, and end up getting a provari later...

There's some logic here... a provari or something similar - It will cost you more though - I use a diamante for VV and it's great -

The Provari is very durable as you will find.

I agree fully! My provaris have been dropped more times than I can count and have always kept on working. I have broken several drip tips in a fall but never the provari. The reason I ordered a 2nd one is fear that I will lose it or it will get stolen-not that it will ever break.
