I dreamed I had an analog last night

No, seriously. I was thankful (and slightly annoyed) that it was only a dream.

I have a pack and a half hanging out in my pantry and lately I've been tempted to "taste the difference" *coughwhatevercough*

I'm proud that I haven't reached for my 'logs lately... it's been a super stressful time for me. My ex husband and his girlfriend were in the tornado that hit Joplin on Sunday... the nursing home he worked at was destroyed (he was supposed to work that night but someone else took over for him. The guy is in the hospital with 38 broken bones.) They live right behind St. John's and their house was one of the few left standing. I got to talk to them both yesterday. God is SO good-- I can't express how grateful I am that they're alive. Please keep them and all of Joplin in your prayers.

Anyhow... the only thing that's keeping me from "trying" one is the counter widget I have on my phone:

5.74 days smoke-free
114 analogs not smoked
$11.49 saved

Thanks for reading- going to have a vape now. :)

LOL! Every time I've quit smoking in the past I would dream about smoking every night.

But I never dreamed about smoking after I started vaping -- and shortly after my one year vape-a-versary I actually dreamed that someone offered me a smoke and I pulled out my e-cig and fired it up instead. They were, like, WOAHH!!

hehehehe.... so fun, even if it was just a dream.

If cigarettes are making guest appearances in your dreams, well...that's your body talking to you.

I keep a pack around myself, and once in awhile I still feel an urge tugging at me from the inside out. Once in an even greater while, I cave into what my body wants, what it remembers of cigarettes. Each time I do, I find—once again—that my body's memory is faulty, that they taste like a wadded up ball of barbed wire.

I think it was just more of a habit thing for me. I wasn't jones'ing (and still not) for a smoke because I was getting more than enough nicotine. I think that it was just normal to envision myself smoking because that was just part of my daily routine for so long. Never once did I pick up a cancer stick again though. Vape on!

I never had a dream that I smoked cigarettes since I started vaping. However I did have a dream two nights ago that we, in PA, got 12" of snow in May. This crazy weather. Other dreams are nobody's business.
As for the dream about smoking, just be thankful it was a dream. Hang in there. It is all worth it in the end.
