Call me lazy for not doing a search for this lol Really....go ahead....I know I'm lazy. :p

Anyhoo.......What do you do when one of these things gets flooded? I've been using clearos, and I have them figured out. Just clean off the o rings and blow the excess out. That doesn't seem to work with this thing.

It was great right out of the package. But then I was showing it to my Sis. Showing how easy it is to fill. I had it upside down before unscrewing the bottom and everything. Put it back together and gurgle gurgle gurgle. Didn't make for the best sell to my Sis.

I think I read somewhere (not sure where) that you're not supposed to blow thru these as that will cause trouble. I could be thinking of a different device. I'm easily confused :)

BTW I vape all 100% vg and use a Volt X2.

When mine starts to flood I unscrew the coil and blow from the "battery side" into a paper towel on both the coil part and the tank part. Then reassemble at its good to go. I generally do this every time I refill just for good measure. Did you flip the oring to allow better wicking or remove any of the excess threads? That can cause flooding at times too. Its kind of a balancing act.

I do as josho does to clear the head, then run a pipe cleaner through the air passage of the tank to clear that.

If you are getting juice in your mouth you can run the pipe cleaner in from the drip tip end to clear the air passage without dissembling, though.

Don't blow through the clearomizer from any direction with it assembled. Blowing air through it will create a negative pressure and will just pull more juice into the coil/wick area just like a paint gun will pull up paint.

Same thing happens with the V3 Visions stardusts. The old "blow to clear a carto flood" just doesn't apply to these. I blew out half a mil of liquid, once, before I figured that out.

My juice is 75% 24mg PG (Menthol flavored), 15% 0mg VG, and 10% PGA (to thin the VG down a little). This brings the total down to 18mg which is what I like the most.

With this mixture I find I can reduce the gurgling by holding the device horizontal as much as possible, even while vaping. I also have no flooding or dry hits with 3 or 4 pulls in a row.

It still has the original wicks and the cap is in its original position. The head is just over 8 weeks old.

I think the gurgle is due to the two top wicks being positioned wrong. I had 2 T3s from the same vendor. Both using 100 VG.
One gurgled from about the third puff and the other didn't. Couldn't figure out why.

Today I decided to clean the heads and dry burn. You have to remove the top wicks to do so and put em back when done.

Decided to leave the top wicks off the gurgling one since I read it gives better flavor. It did but still gurgled.

Reassembled non gurgle with top wicks and no gurgle. Took off top wicks from non gurgle and it gurgles now.

Now I wish I didn't throw the wicks out but at least I have replacement heads.

Holding it horizontally resolved the gurgling issue for me. Thanks Spider!
