i got three questions

1. which side of the battery is the posotive and which is negative
2. are all vtc5 batteries rechargable ? especially the one from vividsmoke.com
3. efest charger or nitecore ?

The small side it is the positive it should have a plus+ sign
yes the sony vtc5 are rechargeable
I prefer the nitecore make sure it has overcharging safety feature.

No not all chargers have safety features you need to look for 1 that will shut off or not overcharge a battery.

yeah ik. the nitecores do have overcharge protection. ecigitty has them but doesnt have a description on the site but vividsmoke does. its still the same . right ?

Nitecore just has a better reputation when it comes to chargers. efest does make a good battery though. The bag mentioned above goes around the charger if a battery should explode but being the nitcore has safety features its optional.

I put my battery charger with my batteries in it while charging up my batteries. This will help contain a fire or explosion. You can get them on Amazon or FT. I got the large size....it fits my Nitecore i4 or i2.

so you bought a i4 with a lipo bag so that you could sorta add a feature of the d4 to your i4. am i right ?

The D4 is digital the I4 is not I have the I4 i guess its a matter of preference

Yes they both do the D4 has a few more features i would say if you can afford it go for the d4
