A bologna and cheese sandwich! never in my life did I think this sandwich would be so good. I normally eat 2 sandwiches and I'm done. Tonight I've had 4. The first bite I took, it took me back to my childhood and the sandwiches mom use to make for me. I guess my taste buds are coming back.

I am doing the carb free deal to lose my post quitting smoking weight. Last night I had a dream, not about Ali Larter or Kate Beckinsale (or both) but about a huge loaf of rye bread.

Phantom, I haven't eaten a bologna sandwich in something like 40 years! I do know what you mean about remembering sandwiches your Mom made when you were a kid. I was just thinking about how good tasting my Mom made Hoagies today. I don't know what she did, but they were the best. It made me feel good thinking about them & made me wish I knew her secret... maybe it was love.

Thank you for sharing the DummyMe, I know what you mean, i think it was love. When I took that first bite tonight, I was almost back in our house at Ft.Bragg, sitting at our table eating while mom was being, well mom.... Mom's are certainly unique

Wow, getting your taste buds back after 14 days. I have been 3 months without a cigarette and just this week started to notice new flavors to old foods. Fortunately, I haven't put on any post quitting weight, lost a few pounds in fact. I think some of the sweet juice flavors have been enough to cut my sweet tooth down.

Munitions? I used load up the F4 Phantoms and A-10 Warthogs. Seymour- Johnson in N.C., and Myrtle Beach.

Indian food is what gets me now. I could take hot-N-spicy (and the Indians have a WHOLE level beyond what we Americans think is hot) all day long.. NOT ANYMORE. Way too spicy for my palette now!
