You should have seen my jaw drop when I read that.
I still sit here, mouth agape.

Keep in mind that I do live in Southern California.
But I find it hard to imagine life without guacamole, since that would mean life without chips or rolled tacos.

Since you live in Pittsburgh, I'm just going to assume you have never had freshly made guacamole with real avocados.
Thinking that will at least help me sleep at night.

I have a friend that has an awesome mnemonic for food: "If it's green, it's too old to be food."

No, that's Guacamole. Guacamole is a punishment straight from Satan's nether regions.
I had that once... A couple of courses of antibiotics cleared it right up though[emoji43]
My wife would agree with you, because she's a ketchup lover.
I'll bet you're a ketchup lover too.

Okay, that's it. It is clear that I am having some kind of nightmare right now.
You've just entirely eliminated hot dogs, hamburgers, pastrami sandwiches, and corned beef with cabbage from the face of the earth.

If you all are looking for a condiment to hate, that would be ketchup.
Nothing in the world is good with ketchup that wouldn't be better with a different condiment.

And yes, that includes french fries...
FRIET & MAYO (DUTCH FRENCH FRIES)
I'm a CA transplant, and I have to admit. The Mexican food around here is deplorable. First time I went to a Mexican joint around here I thought they substituted ketchup for the salsa!

I get that. As a Chicagoan, when I travel and occasionally see a sign that says "Chicago Style Pizza" I'll think "I could use a little of home" so I order it. Then you get served this festering dog turd with extra cheese and undercooked crust and its just so sad. Sad they thought they could make Chicago style pizza in Wisconsin. Sad they think sweet tomato sauce is suitable for pizza. Sad that Chicago is right there over the boarder and they couldn't make the 90 minute drive to see what the real thing tastes like.

Since the topic came up...

Would you eat something called like this:

...knowing that, for us up north, a dog being walked in the winter will leave one of 2 things behind: "yellow snow" or a "steamer" ?

Who came up with that? Lol, it sounds so dumb.

ya know what, YOU ARE CORRECT, imo...yes it does! . Good for you! lol......and never until i joined this forum did that 'name' or 'term' come up except for years ago my older son had an odd little friend that used to say "I have the stinkies'...I smoked cigarettes and now I use a vapor. Seems simple to me. :) Does a cigarette stink? Sure, but even a vapor doesn't always smell great. I think someone that wears too much perfume smells worse! I don't say 'are you wearing stink?' tehehehehee But now that I mention it I want to next time! j.k
Never did the term or word 'analogue' come up in my world either, out of all of the 'cigarette' smoking, cigar smoking, vapor using, non smokers, etc., out of all friends, , friends of friends etc. They simply say 'i smoke cigarettes, a cigar, a pipe or a vapor ..OR i don't smoke at all. Simple
