Ok, you know your a vaper when you see the above in bold as something other than percentage for copay. I saw that and thought to myself "Hey, that's what I vape too!"
People who are against something tend to quote anything they find that supports their argument. Why quote a 5 year old test by the FDA that was clearly designed to place ecigs in a pharmaceutical class where they could be controlled? That was a 2009 incident during the FDA's attempt to band ecigs. The diethylene finding was discovered to be contamination in a Chinese factory. A judge ruled ecigs to be tobacco products and the testing ended.
We'd be better off if the FDA would just ignore its ties to pharma and describe ecigs as what they are. IMO, they are a much safer way to get off cigarettes (and the only way I was able to get off and stay off). You have to wonder why the FDA hasn't published extensive testing and followed a large group of vapers with medical testing for harm. That's been done in the private sector, but it's been largely ignored by federal and state governments, who depend on cigarette tax and settlement payments to survive.
