*Please move if this is in the wrong spot* cause i think im posing in an ok area but.. idk.. honestly lol.

K I know this is probably going to spike some debate, but I have a question and I would just like OPINIONS! No I am right you are wrong loads please! <3

If a pregnant women was a smoker/vaper before she got pregnant, would it be safe to vape 0 nicotine vape? Since honestly that would be the only component i could think of that obviously would be harmful to a fetus.. would it be an accepted form of "smoking" for a pregnant women if there was 0 nic to her mixes?

Small note: NO I am NOT pregnant. I am just curious as usual.

IMO I don't see any harm in someone vaping 0 nic. There is nothing in the PG or VG that would harm the fetus.

Although I smoked regular cigarettes during both of pregnancies I had no problems (of course this was 30 years ago when it was more acceptable) Now they say that nicotine cuts off oxygen by narrowing blood vessels throughout your body, including the ones in the umbilical cord. It's a little like forcing your baby to breathe through a narrow straw. To make matters worse, the red blood cells that carry oxygen start to pick up molecules of carbon monoxide instead. Suddenly, that narrow straw doesn't even hold as much oxygen as it should.

They even say that the babies can have lifelong effects ie. learning disorders, behavioral problems and low IQ scores.

Neither of my children experienced any of these complications as a matter of fact by son is gifted and is an attorney.

Back 30 years ago a larger percentage of pregnant women smoked and I am not aware of any problems encountered. Of course I understand there could have had numerous complications.

So vaping with 0 nicotine would be safe.

As has already been said... not being a doctor I wouldn't want to say for sure... BUT the dangers of smoking and pregnancy are A. The carbon monoxide which decreases YOUR ability to get oxygen thereby depriving the baby as well. B. Nicotine passes the placental barrier thereby getting to the fetus causing things like low birth weight and premature birth.
Nicotine also constrict blood vessels which may impede the delivery of GOOD stuff to the fetus. Again I'm not a doctor, I'm just a transcriptionist!!
