I have a provari kit

My brother sent it to me. I am interested, but nervous. The kit came Monday. I ordered some pg so I'm ready to go. I haven't tried. He told me to fix the juice 50/50 with the pg, then drip onto the cartomizer. Then let sit to absorb. Then try.

The only thing I've tried was a puff at a mall kiosk and it made me feel really dizzy and funny. Fortunately I found the Provari forum here, and realize that my experience should be much better. I'm so hesitate and scared. Waiting for it, I was buying one pack of smokes at a time, but today I bought a carton. I do plan on doing this, just scared and don't know why.

vaping is fun! What nicotine level did you get? Be very careful with higher nicotine levels as it can make you sick, the first time i tried i got a little sickly but that was because my nicotine was too high. Take it at your pace, and if you feel the nicotine level is higher then it should be order a lower nicotine level...but just try it..and if you need a place to get cheap good quality fluid go here Mt Baker Vapor - Electronic Cigarettes, USA made E Juice, and Accessories

Hello, Schnoodle . . . Welcome to the ECF community.

What a wonderful brother, which you have. If you are personally ready and committed to quit smoking, the ProVari is one excellent APV to start with, depending on whom you speak to.

As you are armed with one of the better devices, your success is assured only by your commitment. No device is a magic pill. The device enhances the experience.

Having said all of the above, embrace the technology and strive for a better and healthier way of living. We are all here to help you, if you are capable of helping yourself. Much success to you. Please keep us abreast of your Vaping journey.

Well sounds like you have a nice setup, don't forget to vape properly.. suck it into your mouth then into your lungs not directly into your lungs and drink lots of water to keep hydrated. Also drink lots of water and also drink lots of water.

You forgot to mention to drink lots of water:blink:?

............ uhh Darn! Don't you hate it when you forget what you were going to post! How annoying.....

A short time later...

Oh yeah! Fear! I understand that completely. The smoking Monkey spoke truth. I fought even trying e-cigs for years. Every time my wife brought it up I would just dismiss it. But once I tried it, well there is no turning back now. :)

Let go! Come on in the water is fine. No sharks I promise. :)

Just take it at your own pace and keep reminding yourself how much better you are going to feel.

If you need to cut out the stinkies slowly, then do it that way. But if you want to quit straight away, then go for it. Everyone is different, you just need to find the best approach for you.

I just wish I had a generous family member too

Lots of people here will give you some great advice, so don't be worried about taking the first step.

That is fantastic. Great gift.

It will take a tiny bit of reading to know how to match up voltages to devices but it is very simple once you have done it a couple of time.

Finding the delivery system you like can be a bit of work. I have settled on carto tanks and love them. Some will prefer clearomizers, some are direct drippers and so on.

Finding the nic level and flavors you like can be a journey. Peoples taste vary so much but I have found things that I really like.

I really think you will like the Provari.

Oh and if you stumble and have a cigarette don't beat yourself up over it. Just get up, knock the dust off and try again. After all, most of us had or are doing exactly the same thing.

Progress is all you need to be worrying about right now. A pack today? Ok try to lower that down the next few days. Got it down to 3/4 a pack? Good! Try to lower that down the next few days. Half a pack now? Great! Progress!

Before you know it you've left the stinkies behind. And let me tell you, it is a wonderful feeling. You can do this. And you have a BIG cheering section to help!

I started with 24 mg for the first two weeks and went down to 18. I still used the 24 when the cravings got bad. Keep in mind it takes longer for the nic to get in your system, 15 to 20 min. So try not to chain vape the 24 to avoid headaches and unset stomic that come from over nicing. Plus you can still smoke stinkies if you really feel the need. For most the transition is easy but some struggle more then others. If you do struggle talk to us!!! There is always a solution and you have access to a wealth of info here.
You can do this and we are happy to help.!!!

Beginnings are always scary, endings are usually sad. Its the stuff in the middle that really counts. ( movie quote, Hope Floats )
