Well I have been asked to participate at BUSPH on March 14th.:2cool:

It should prove interesting.

How could I pass up a $6.00 Amazon gift card!:toast:

They may not be expecting someone dripping a Howitzer to walk through the door.

All kidding aside, they will understand how important vaping is for people seeking to get off the evil weed.:vapor:

Wish them luck

I just got the confirmation email from B.U.

They have it setup at their facility near Boston Medical Center.

Anyone familiar with Boston will get a kick out of this.

It’s scheduled at four P.M., at Mass Ave – Albany street.

I guess the drive in, and parking is a stress test!

I appreciated the subway chart that was sent but I have opted to muscle in the Olds Delta 88.

They will get to see a life that has been dramatically changed.

I just attended one of their focus groups a couple weeks ago @ the same location. You're absolutely right... it's like they set me up to have a stressful drive. It took me 45 mins to get from Comm Ave in Allston to Albany Street. I drove around like a dork looking for a parking spot, until I decided to risk leaving my car in the CVS lot just off of Harrison.

It's an interesting experience though; definitely worth while. I have to say it was my first time being around more than 1 other vaper.

Hey Chariot

What did you bring for gear?

How many others were there?

Do you feel we were getting a fair shake with the questioning?

I chain vape pretty much using two xhalers , two Rivas, along with a Hello Goodbye.

I am considering ordering some carts tonight to appear somewhat civilized with my vaping habits.

Was there any bias or leading questions involved?

Being one that uses and is highly aware of Neuro-linguistic programming this should prove very interesting.

I always enjoyed winning the gold star at brain washing school.:p

Hi, Huffin! Not sure what Chariot brought...no wait, I think he had the eGo-T. I brought my mini Saber Touch and my eGo. I was there with Cigarbabe, she was using her Reo Grand if I remember correctly. There were 6 of us at this focus group, and each of us had completely different PVs with us. Don't worry about just bringing juice and a drip tip, I think they are interested in learning about what "real life" vapers are doing, so don't go get all dressed up for a first date. LOL

I thought the questions were pretty open ended, each participant had opportunities to reply to direct questions and make statements about vaping. Dr. Siegel wasn't there. The two student researchers who conducted the study hadn't seen anyone use a pv before, which I thought was interesting. We spent some time complaining about the FDA, too. All in all, it was an interesting experience that I'm glad I was able to participate in.

I was rockin' the Inferno. I'd just received the tank system a couple days earlier, so I figured I'd use that since I didn't feel like dripping. I brought my 510LR and a tip just for the hell of it though.

There's no reason to be shy. We all sort of sat around for a couple minutes and looked at each other, then we all agreed that we were sort of expected to be vaping the entire time and just went for it. Everyone broke out their juices and mods and gave feedback and tips.... no reason to feel weird or hold back. Honestly, I was trying to pull bigger drags to see how much vapor we could puff into the room.

The questioning was intelligent and fair. They asked brief questions and gave us ample time to reply at length, and they weren't very strict about us going off on tangents and expressing ourselves. Most questions were about NRT and failed attempts to quit. The 6 of us came to a general consensus on most topics, as you might expect. Like Brewlady said, we had the chance to vent about the FDA and uppity congressmen/women for a bit, which was fun. We also plugged the hell out of ECF and the entire vaping community in general -- I don't think it was a secret that we were all there to support our cause (although I did use my Amazon card once I got home).

LOL on the Amazon card.

The Nuns can attest that I have never been shy.

Even when I was being kicked by those 10lb Nun boots while stuffed under the desk.

Drew can attest that I burn 120-150ml of juice per month. Maybe more

Too me it all comes down to this being a safer delivery system for nicotine.

Because we spike as we would smoking an analog you don't jone's as you would with the steady delivery of the patch.

This is good for them to know.

Run out of juice and you're in the store buying 3 packs of Camels.

I took a couple of pokes on a .... last week and it was disgusting.

Ill probably walk in like an Aerosmith concert fog machine.

Being an ardent advocate for smoke free alternatives is not only important for us, but for all the people that we help get on the vaping track.

My sister is the latest I have going to Nhaler... "I cant believe I stopped smoking".

These are great words to hear... Drew has never let them down.

This is a life saving freedom issue.

No one should tell us we cant save ourselves.

OK down off the soap box.

Keep on Huffin & Puffin
