Went to my DR. yesterday for my annual physical and the blood work came back showing I was vitamin D deficient. I drink lots of milk and have not changed my dietary habits...
I have no idea if there is any connection at all but I have never been deficient in any vitamin before. Just wanted to post this in case anyone else has this issue. I have to go pick up my vitamin D tabs at the pharmacy... Maybe liquid, I have no idea yet...

Not trying to be an alarmist at all just posting information that may or may not be related to vaping.
How will we know if there is a problem with vaping if we do not share information?

I have no intention of quitting vaping at this time.

Robert, a good portion of the population is vitamin D deficient. That's what comes from an indoor lifestyle, or living in a part of the country that doesn't get constant sunshine, as we do in the Pacific Northwest. Doctors here are always telling their patients to take vitamin D for that very reason.

More sun please. Also the population is storing more fat cells which lead to the cause.

Milk doesn't haven't vitamin D naturally. Vitamin D is added to milk.

Fat is not the issue. I have also lost 30 lbs since starting vaping due to loss of wanting to snack. I buy no Little Debby snacks now. I am at 167 lbs. And no fat. Maybe little debbie junk was full of vitamin D?
LOL

If your diet changes, your vitamin levels can change too. Everyone should have their blood work done once a year to see if any changes can be made to enhance their life. I have a potassium deficiency, and its actually better since I quit smoking. It doesn't make any sense so i'm not gonna say vaping raised my potassium, but my diet is also more healthy because I was afraid of the weight gain from quitting smoking.

I wouldn't be surprised if I am, too. I'm not going outside every hour to smoke anymore.
Yep... you'd be surprised how much sun you get (and how much vitamin D your body produces) just from going outside to smoke. Vape outside more and start eating some Vitamin D heavy foods (do a Google search). In the mean time, take a few supplements... go to your doctor later on to see if it's worked.

I have had a number of blood profiles taken since I began vaping. There is definitely dehydration going on, as that has showed up in last 4 profiles, and my doctor compared them to all the years before when all those values were in the correct range. (when I didn't vape).

So everyone really does need to up their fluid intake.......and no, it's not a myth.

Vitamin D deficiency is very common in the general population these days. I suggest taking a supplement, and always get tested once a year.

Any doctor worth their salt is going to test for Vit D. during a physical, since its such a common deficiency ..... and this is a very important vitamin. Deficiency causes a lot of stuff you don't want.

I made up some Orange creamsicle ejuice. Should be full of vitamin D right?
:D
Actually I am still working on that juice is not right yet, but getting closer.
I need to perfect my apple cider when it gets closer to fall.
Maybee its time to start mixing outside in the front yard :p

I'd recommend that you get out and do some of the yard work your wife has been nagging you about. Or run and hide at a local golf course.:)
Yardwork is out right as my back is also out. but prior to that I spend a lot of time outside.
Back is better though so next week I will be outside more.
