I have mini "explosions" coming out of the air hole?

I had a thread similar to this last week and found the issues to be:

- Too much of a wick, or uneven wick (I use cotton)
- Too much sqounking
- Wick is a bit dry, so sqounk
- Make sure the wick isn't touching any hot legs (not so sure on this one)

So yes, the first thing I would do is replace the wick real quick.:)

Yep, all or one or none of those things could be the culprit (I'm so helpful, right? LOL). Otherwise, I orient my RM2 and air hole so it faces away from my hand. For me, I hold it to my mouth "button down," so I have the RM2 oriented so the coil and airhole face opposite of the button. It took tinkering (I have the skinny Oring under the cap, and a 1.5 x 10mm O ring in the "drip well" under the RM2) to achieve the right alignment, but I'm particularly finicky about such things.

A place some call paradise
I wasn't having this issue but the flavor wasn't everything that y'all made it out to be. Yesterday I had a 1 ohm coil and it started doing it. But holy cow the flavor was amazing so I dealt with it. One of those hot shots of juice went through the drip tip and landed on my tongue (I know I know but that one is too easy to make fun of). But the flavor is so amazing! But my tongue has a little burnt spot on it. Worth it 100% to me for this flavor and vapor

Yeah, it seems that I get the best vape and flavor when there is "explosion". It means a really well wicked and high powered coil. But I think we need to be careful because those hot, small bit of juice that flies out of the air hole can potentially get into eyes if we are not careful. I wear glasses so the chance of that happening is slim, but just want to give everyone some caution. Because it seems those things can fly just about in any direction.
