Good for you tatoogirl! The first 4 days were the toughest for me. After that point, it was a little better. If you hit a rough spot due to stress, try vitamin C along with a lot of water - that helped me. Every day you get up, you'll feel a little better - also won't have to keep clearing your throat all the time or go into a coughing fit when you laugh hard.

still going strong on vaping and finding cigarettes more and more repulsive. A trip to my local walmart proves that having some of my sense of smell back isnt always a good thing. OMG cant people tell when they smell bad??

The downside is that im getting a few pimples and i have this nagging dry cough. It is keeping me up at night you know when you get really sick in the winter and cough a bunch and the only thing that would fix it is a cigarette? its that cough. Nothing productive about it just terrible. feeling a bit lightheaded the last few days too. I am going to attribute it to sideeffects of quitting smoking or maybe a bug. Ill give it a few weeks and see if it goes away. Hubby is doing as well as i am and we passed our first 2 kits onto 2 other friends. and ive saved almost 70$ and i dont smell bad. YAY ME for not stinking lol

Speaking of which those cigs are awful smelling. I got another tattoo the other day from a coworker and she smokes the smell was as bad as the pain of a tattoo behind my ear lol. Cant imagine kissing someone who smokes

The lowest day I've had, I smoked 3 or 4. Mostly I'm at around 10 a day. I still consider that a huge success, considering I was smoking over 3 packs a day before. Even if it never gets better than that, it's still way, way better than before.

And I'm convinced I'll get off the cigs. I'm not pushing too hard, trying to avoid too many withdrawal problems. Pretty soon, I'm going to try and stick to a 5 a day limit, do that for a couple of weeks, and then after that, try to get off them completely.

Stick with it. You're doing fine.

Just a suggestion for those of you still smoking some cigarettes a day. Try adding another smoke-free alternative source of nicotine to your daily vaping.

Possible alternatives include pharmaceutical nicotine gum or lozenges, or for those on a budget, Ariva or Stonewall dissolvable tobacco orbs. Ariva orbs contain about 1 mg of nicotine and the Stonewalls contain about 4 mg each.

There is always snus, as well. Each pouch contains quite a lot more nicotine than is delivered by the pharma products.

The important thing is to STOP THE DAMAGE being done to your lungs and cardiovascular system by inhaling smoke. Any source of nicotine that isn't smoked is gong to be less hazardous to your health.
