At the same time we have had people on here who were on the short list for a heart attack asking if their chest pain was vaping related. They found out within 24 hours of seeking medical advice on a forum - and a stent or two later - that, no, it wasn't vaping related.
Get your point. Don't see the harm in asking on a forum as long as the person is also seeking professional medical advice. If I hadn't figured out what the problem was, god knows what the medical community would have put me through. No doubt BP would have made a few bucks.

While I agree with most of your post, I don't agree with this:
Digestive and respiratory systems are not connected.

10000% incorrect.

(Where'd ya get your medical degree ? LOL)

For starters, people with certain digestive disorders aspirate into lungs, i.e. there are pulmonary manifestations of GERD.

GERD can actually go into your ears as well in people who have silent reflux disease, etc..

Most all systems in body are interconnected, i.e. they have also found that COPD can be worsened by gum and teeth problems. So can cancer of the esophagus, etc.

Yes, and you can inhale water and swallow air. But that's not what I meant and you know it.

Inhaling something into your lung isn't going to cause intestinal cramping unless it's extremely toxic and is effecting your entire body (ie. sarin gas) They are two separate systems (which share a single point of entry) and what enters one exclusively does not effect the other unless a toxin or pathogen is involved.

What is toxic to one person may not be toxic to another, a good example is inhaling PG for people highly allergic to PG.

Or in my case, inhaling anything with cinnamon, which is toxic for me and which I found out "the hard way" about. (almost required an ER visit).

So when you say "toxic" that is a relative word here.

Incomplete inhalation, i..e, a spitting atty, which puts ejuice into your mouth instead of vaporizing into lungs, can certainly cause severe intestinal cramping and GERD. Does for me, and plenty of internet posts to support that others have this problem. But of course that is not really inhalation so you would be right about that.

Again, sorry, didn't mean to be snarky, I guess all this just goes toward showing the failings of trying to diagnose people's medical problems on an internet forum.

They should just go see a doctor, even though we are always trying to be helpful.

OP - have you been under a lot of stress recently? My daughter and I both have IBS, and when it hits, it hits hard. I tend to go between constipation and needing a cork, with the accompanying tummy pains and loss of appetite. What helps me to keep things manageable is a combination of acidophilus, Tums or equivalent, and Valerian.

I don’t believe for a minute that my/other people’s problems is because it’s inhaled, it’s because the condensation of it in your mouth gets swallowed and that is what causes the problem if someone is sensitive to any of the ingredients.
