I have had my BP for about 2 months and I have had this problem pretty much the whole time. I just didn't realize what is was until recently. I am kinda new to mods lol. I am learning rather quick. I have a connection problem. I have noticed a few times a day it just won't fire. I have come to realize that, it, I believe is the little wire that is connected by the screw when you open up the top, very gingerly of course. It has never been damaged in anyway. The reason I had come to this conclusion is because when I unscrew it maybe a 1/4 or even sometimes just an 1/8 of a turn and either leave it there or tighten it again it fires like a champ. Also sometimes it seems to be firing week even on freshly charged batteries. The same fix helps. Is there something I can do to stop having to play with the threads everyday. Thanks in advance for your time and advice.

Ok, 1st thank you for responding. I did try exactly what you said to do. However, of course I don't want to break anything, but when I tighten the screw holding the wire under the cap it no longer moves. So when I try to screw the top on it is just pulling the wire with the turning of the screw. Is there a trick to it lol. Also the screw seems to loosen and tighten with the turning of the top cap. Again thanks for your time.

THere is a trick :) Loosen the screw in the top and it will let you tighten the bottom screw and put the top back on. After the top is on tighten the screw back up in the connector.

Wampira, did you loosen the outer top cap screw first? If you loosen it, then tighten the inside screw you can usually put the top cap back on without twisting the wire...then tighten the outside screw last.

I hope that helps...we all hate to see a fellow Buzzer in distress! Mike will get you fixed up one way or another :)

ETA: Thanks Ruppy...you beat me to it ;)

Thank you all soooo much. The little "trick" worked very well :). It is hitting better than ever ;-). I am sure that will do the trick. As far as juice build up, what is the best way to clean the whole thread section? You guys are great, you all made my day, thanks again.

Ok so I am doing something right lol. That is how I have been cleaning it. I am primarily a cartomizer user so I have gotten myself a 510 to 510 adapter to use so I save the top cap from most of the stray juice. The adapter is soooo much easier to clean. Thanks for the response.
