I'm calling it "The Make Me Look Like An ..." feature! It's kind of like when you teach your dog to shake, but when you gather your freinds and family....maybe the neighbors too, to see this amazing new trick. He just sits there and looks at you like a dumb.......well, dog. I wrapped a new coil for my Kayfun this morning, I got half way done wrapping and couldn't remember how many coils I needed to hit 1.5 ohms........so I guessed. And I was wrong..........my Provari said it was 1 ohm on the dot. So before tearing the hole thing down...did I mention I had all ready put the thing together and filled it with juice before I checked the resistance? I thought I'd turn the volts down a bit and see if it would vape and vape it did. So clickety click I went and sure enough 1 ohm! I had been vaping on it all day long when I thought "hey I should post a thread about this"! So of course I write the thread with all kinds of speculation about why I was able to vape a 1ohm coil and yada yada. Then when I go to take the required "Proof" Pic.........1.3 ohms. I check it again....1.3ohms. I called my precious Provari names that I haven't used since one of my soldiers dropped a live grenade at our feet...with the pin still in his hand. So to make a long story short.....my provari isn't any more special than anyone elseses. Except it's mine.

Honestly I haven't noticed a shorter batt life. I think in most cases when we wrap coils we use lower gauge wire, it takes a bit longer to heat up so we take longer pulls. I wrap mini coils, around a 3/32 drill bit shank, I keep the coils tight and touching. They heat up realy quick, so no warm up lag. That's my theory any ways and I'm sticking to it. Only down side is with higher gauges, the coil heats up so fast it's hard to keep from burning juice. RBA's are worth the learning curve, so much of your vape experience can be adjusted by just how you wrap the coil.

Find an ohm's law calculator on Google or download an app for your phone. The Provari has an amp limit of 3.5, then from there you can do the calculations. The Provari will actually fire a .9 ohm coil at about 3 volts but I don't see much to that myself because that's only 11 watts or so.

Generally when I vape sub ohm it's around .6 on a mech which on a fresh battery is about 26 watts.
