Now I have another question, related to lungs, for everyone.

For 7 years I've been smoking 1.5 packs/day of ultra lights. Last Thursday afternoon my KR8 arrived. I didn't know if I would be happy with a PV so I switched between it and some analogs (5). By midmorning Friday I had already decided that I preferred the KR8 over the analogs. Friday night the battery ran out of charge so I had another 5 analogs. Saturday morning I'm back on the KR8. Saturday night my chest starts feeling tight, similar to the onset of bronchitis. I take some expectorant, drink lots of water and quit using the PV (no analogs either). I continue with expectorant and h2o until noon today. My chest felt better and I was coughing up a little bit of residue from the analogs, a good sign. Some new flavors arrived and I had to try them. Less than 30 puffs on the new cartos and I can feel my chest getting a little tight again.

Has anyone else experienced this and do you have any advice? I don't want to go back to analogs.
your lungs are still getting over your sickness as i had that problem when i was sick tightness in chest but it also couldnt hurt to see your doctor for some antibiotics, thats what i did i havnt had any tightness in chest. i have been vaping since august 2009, vaping and analogs during the first month or so and i can really feel a difference in how much deeper of a breath i can take. when you stop smoking unless a more serious lung problem you r lungs start to repair themselves very fast, and when i mean fast i mean a noticable difference in breath, although will take years to get somewhat repaired. your lungs will never be the same as a non smoker, but will repair itself sustantialy, also i might add some people do have some reactions to PG keep that in mind

Thanks for the response cdog. I hope I'm not having a reaction to the PG, After reading your comments about VG I'm a little hesitant to switch from PG to VG.

Just to be clear I don't think I have or had bronchitis. In the past when I haven't smoked for 3 days or so, I always start coughing up "tar balls" I'm not a medical professional but it seems as though the vaping is hindering the "cleaning process" that my lungs go through whenever I lay off the smokes. I guess I could "man up" and not use my PV until all the tar is gone, but we all know how hard that is.
