Hi and welcome to ECF. I use a Kgo which is identical to the Riva although mine is 1100 mah. 100 mah= 1 hr vaping before recharge is needed. The price is amazing but it comes with the antiquated "tank" system- atomizer+ cartridge- and these are known to have issues with leaking. Otherwise it's an incredible price.

LOLLL I'm on the Kgo VV waiting list. With my Kgo I've found the very best cartos are the Smok Teck 1.7 XL single coil aka The Resurrectors- with the Kgo VV you'd need to go to a higher ohms.

Thank you for the reply. The Riva will be a stepping stone till the KGO VV with LCD display comes out. I just need to get the hang of it and get familiar with vaping before I invest more mooola.

If you are going to start I think that the tank/addie combos are horrible.
You just need a battery and a carto/tank combo. You can add an addie for dripping as well.
For batteries the ego c twist is VV and works well. Inexpensive as well. Got the big ego c twist at a vape shop for under $30.
Get a box or 2 of cartos and find a flavor or 2 you really like. Then get your cartos punched and add a tank to your set up for good all day vaping.
You can get decent cheap DCT tanks for $12 or step up to a Steel MAP tank for $50 or for about the same price Cirrus has anodized aluminum tanks in colors.
Do not spend much on a battery because sooner or later you will end up with a Pro-Vari.
Have fun vaping a whole new world of flavors.

The Riva is a good vape to start with. Try some 2 ohm Boge cartos even if you are thinking about a carto tank for later. Plain old cartos are good for knocking about when you need to just put the whole thing in a pants pocket to free up your hands. You can also do that with a tank, but most of them use a plastic tube with silicone ends. If you are really active or sit down and apply the wrong pressure, a tank can come apart in your pocket ;).

2 ohms gives you a 6.8 watt vape on a 3.7v Riva battery. You will stay under the max current limit and get a good vape from it.

Fill your cartos like this on the initial fill and then top them off when needed.
