I just ordered my e-cig

Well, I just am starting to get my feet wet in the whole vaping thing. My fiance just gave me some money (yes, gave--no need to pay her back--long story and I don't want to give too many details) to start smoking e-cigarettes.

I ordered the DSE103 Sophomore from Vapor Options. I ordered the starter kit, three extra attys, and 10 unfilled carts. I also ordered some Red Bull, Mint and coffee e-juice flavors from there too, so I can meet the requirements for the free shipping offer.

I also ordered three more flavors from Wet Your Stick, too. Rum, Cola and Tobacco.

Checkout on both sites were fast and painless, and I hope they come just in time for the weekend so I can start vaping by the same time. I'm tired of these dang analogs!

But the sad thing (not bad, so it's not a typo) is that the Camel, Marlboro, Hilton, Tobacco and Coca-Cola flavors (some were what I wanted) were sold out. Bummer. But maybe next time, because I created an account with VO just in case I need anything, like a battery or two or anything else that I may need.

I'll post a review in the review forum when it comes.

And thanks for this forum too. I have learned a lot when it comes to vaping.

Oh, the reason why I bought a mini is that I wanted something that looks like an analog to get the habit out of the way before I even go to something like the screwdriver or something like the Janty.

Cheers,
CasperGhostboy

Well, my DCE103 came in the mail today and well :(

Do these batteries need the 8 hour charge like the manual says? Or are the fully charged already?

oh no... Not this debate again

let me put it this way. You will have charged, used and burnt out the batteries long before that discussion dies down

Well, you have to remember I just started vaping three weeks ago, and need to be brought up to speed a bit. My question was simple. Do they need the 8 hour charge or not? Some manufacturers claim they come fully charged, while the manual says 8 hours charge. So which is it?

Does the supplier you bought from claim they come fully charged ?? if so, use them ... if not, charge them .. :)

I didn't see anything on the VaporOptions site that claims fully charged, so I stuck them on the charger. Red light is on, so I guess they need a charge after all. :D

I'm hoping to get more vape once they're done. :p

All lithium Ion batteries will have a partial charge when you recieve them.
These batteries have built in overcharge/undercharge cutoff protection. These chargers will light up green when battery is fully charged. supposedly they are no longer charging the battery at this point. I have never understood why they insist on 8 or 12 hour initial charge times. However, I still do as the manufacturer suggests. There is a thread started in the mew Members area on this subject. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/8852-li-ion-batteries-truth.html

Here is also a good link for info on batteries. Welcome to Battery University
