How the time flies by!
Me and the lady just celebrated our three years anniversary at Black Hawk Colorado (Early April). It's where we first went after we got together and decided to make it a yearly thing. I actually proposed to her this year at the casino! (Well not in the casino but a more romantic place.)
Sitting here surfing the web I just realized that last year on our anniversary, she made the comment "you haven't used your "smoker" all day". It was one of the first times I didn't bring it with me and never even realized!
When I first stopped analogs, I vaped non stop all day. I would go through two Kanger tanks a day. A year ago at the casino I went through maybe one to one and a half a day but didn't need it on me constantly. IE: I could go for long periods of time without it.
Fast forward to today. A Kanger pro tank 2 lasts me 7-14 days minimum. If I forget to bring it to work I no longer panic and have the fiance bring it to me.
My lungs feel amazing! I've actually been able to exercise on a regular basis without my asthma kicking in.
About my asthma. I had it when i was young, but went away as I got older. I started smoking around 17 and around 20-21 it came back. Very little at first but after years of smoking it came back with a vengeance! At the end of smoking I was going through an inhaler a week. NOW I go through one every two-three months. It's been amazing to actually breath again. I can cough without having to immediately hit my inhaler.
The money savings makes me feel rich, and I have used that money to buy a bike and am working on a saltwater tank!
I don't know why I feel the need to share my story, other than I hope some smoker out there will read it and be motivated to stop smoking. Maybe vaping will be linked to cancer in the future (the tobacco companies will do anything to make a buck), but at least I can breath again and enjoy life. We have a hike planned this weekend to Horsetooth rock and I'm sure I will make it no problem!
Thanks for reading!
