I know I know not another steeping ???? but yep i have one

I have read so many different ways of steeping. shake hard, give a hot bath, open up and leave in a cool dark place, leave closed in a cool dark place i just dont know what to do! and how do u know if it needs to be steeped or do all need a little time?
the ones im talking about are from MBV

Hawk Sauce
Vanilla Cup Cake
Hot Chocolate
Monster
Cotton Candy
and the free one is Black Clove
If u have tried any of these and could help me out about steeping them that would be great....

I'd leave them closed in a cabinet for a week and then try just in case. Once you find a flavor you like and get familiar with, you will get more accustomed to notice the difference and how long to steep it. My main all day vape that I make takes about a week and tastes different and changes color. I think to keep it simple and play it safe, wait a week and maybe shake them from time to time while waiting. I don't leave the lid off unless it smells or tastes chemically or perfumey. Mainly I leave the lid on.

If you are using a Nano clearomizer or a drip atomizer, you can sample them as soon as you receive them. If you don't care for it, remove it and try another flavor. Try the juices again after they have had a few days to steep, you may like it better.

Most e-liquid vendors will have suggestions on whether the juices need steeping, and which method they prefer you use. If not, use one of the methods suggested here on the forum. They can be as basic as just allowing it to age with the caps on in a cool dark spot. Others shake the bottle. Some remove the cap for a day or two. Some will warm the bottle in warm water. (I don't recommend using hot water as many people believe that heat can break down nicotine)

Some e-liquids require no steeping whatsoever. These are the juices that are not custom-mixed when you place your order. These are made in large batches and bottled, to wait patiently on a warehouse shelf until they are shipped out to their new owner.

Unless I am really low on juice and need to use something I just typically leave it alone until it looks like it stops changing colour. I'll generally check them every 2-3 days and sometimes I'll take pictures to remind myself what it looks like. It can be hard even then though. As an example there is a juice vendory in Canada that makes a Swedish Pastry juice, it needs 6-8 weeks of steeping to reach it's optimal flavour.

Or another example. This is from a Canadian forum and was posted about a week ago to show people the colour of a juice with aging that a bunch of us canucks are obsessed with right now.

Oh, since chadsmo posted a pic, I will also. Lol. Here's a pic of my all day Vape I make of vanilla cream. The clear bottle is when it's first made, the orange bottle is after its steeped about a week. And I don't know why but the last time I posted this pic it was upside down and I can't fix it! At least you can get an idea of the color though. Lol.

Steeping is letting a closed bottle reach maximum dispersion, mix, or entropy.

Breathe or airing out is letting it sit with an open cap. This will allow some aromatic compounds to escape, evaporate alcohol, oxidize the nicotine, and/or allow the PG/VG to pull water into it from the atmosphere.

Two different things that are often confused as one thing, but they do two different things to the taste. The only way to know if it works is to try it. Many juices don't need anything but to be vaped as soon as it arrives and maybe a few minutes later too.

If you taste it and don't like it, try steeping and see if it tastes better at a later date. If that doesn't help try letting it Breathe and try it at a later date.

There is no "rule" to follow for steeping. The shaking, or leaving the top off and all the other methods are simply choices made by different people. Try your juices when you get them and if they arent quite what you want them to be them give them a few days and try them again. If still not what you want give them a few more days. If you dont like most juices by the time they've steeped two weeks you're not likely to ever like it unless your taste buds change which has nothing to do with steeping and everything to do with the mysteries of your own taste buds

The steeping process is pretty simple, don't over think it or make it a bigger deal then it needs to be. You can use any of the methods you've read people use. The simpler the better IMO.

Sometimes you'll find juices need no additional time to steep before you like them, other times you may like the flavor better after a week or two. If I were to try the same juices I may prefer entirely different times then you do.

Steeping... if you like it fresh, vape it! If it gets better with age, steep it! Like everyone said. You missed the "Put it under your armpit all day" method. Make sure it's closed well.

I've been thinking about try that. Greenman ejuice ultrasonically steeps and what I ordered was great straight out of the mail. So you feel it truly works as it should from your personal use? MadVapes did a study of nic base (unflavored?) with A) Windows, B) Counter top, C) Tops open/closed...to watch oxidation of nic. Something like that (you get the idea). They also measured nic content (main goal?).

The base itself changes colors. I'm sure (as above) the flavorings do too.

it definitely works, though I suggest whatever you get, you want one with the longest timer you can find. I got one with a 15min timer that was advertised to have a 30 min time (GRRRR)... the one you found would work, but it has a 3 min timer... to get 1 hour of use out of it, you'd have to run back and forth to it 20 times.

Anyway, I never imagined they would change that much. I've just received mine in the mail today and have already tried out two of them. I'll let the rest steep and see if the flavor changes.

I have to juices that I've left the tops off for three weeks and I still smell alcohol. I can't tell the color as they are in amber bottles but I am noticing evaporation. The bottles came almost full and now the bottles are only a little over 2/3rd's full. I shake them up everyday. They are VV's Kona Coffee Milkshake and Kona Velvet Milkshake. I heard they are better steeped but how long does it take? I tried the Kona Coffee Milkshake right after I got it as I've liked every coffee flavor I've tried without steeping. It's not like I'm not going to use it but I'd like it to taste decent. How long should I be steeping/evaporating these two flavors?

Yeah those would be born on dates. The older it is the darker it gets.
