That sucks SmokingBulllet, fill out a Service Ticket....maybe a 3rd time will be the charm. I know this doesn't help but I have 2 auto p/t's that are my workhorses 1 has performed flawlessly for 6 months, the other in my car for 2 months....and I'm a juicer.

Hope it all works out for you, I'm sure they will hook you up until your satisfied.

I believe V4L will come through for me. The first one I had was an auto, the 2nd; manual.
"Juicer" meaning you drip? How are you doing this on your 808? With an adapter and atty?

As long as it remains Chinese manufacturing, I wouldn't expect less, they just don't have good quality control, but V4L WILL replave it for free if you ask them via trouble ticket. I finally have a good manual, I hope. I give up on the auto PT's, and cut down my usage to extand the life. Seems like they should ast forever, but I even bought an AC/USB adaptor made in china and it broke after 1 month.

I have 2 V4L manual PT's - both owned for more than 3 months. I use one on my computer that I pretty much chain-vape with 12 or 14 hours a day. The other one is in my truck that I use with a car adapter whenever I am on the road. They have been going strong since day 1 without a problem. Just wanted to offer an alternative experience / opinion. Like others have said, V4L customer service is excellent. I am sure they will leave you smilin'

Hi Clover, I remember a thread about your issue.A lot of folks were putting a drop of glue right on the end of the cord where it connects to the batt. That seemed to resolve the problem. Hopefully you will be able to search for the thread or someone that has actually done it will reply.

There is one difference I have noticed between my 2 p/ts. My main p/t which I have had for 6 months is different than the one I've had for 2 months. The difference is the center post, my older one has a post similar to a manual with a bigger center hole, while my newer one has much smaller center hole similar to the newer auto batteries.

Boy can I relate about the pt problem as I just had another one bite the dust. It is true that I use mine a lot since I mainly work from home but this is getting ridiculous since this is about my 4th one in a year. This one (manual non black button) stopped last night and was less than 2 months old. Oddly enough the 1st one I had that came with my kit (the thin wire) one lasted the longest. But this one is doing different than the other ones, it has mostly air coming out of it but then occasionally a small draw so assuming it was clogged, I tried to clean it but still won't work. This of course happened right after placing a order last night,
but I ticketed them.

I can't add much to this except...
I noticed the end of the battery where you screw the carto in can get gunked up really fast which makes vaping with it a lot less effective than when it's clean. I thought i had worn mine out the other day. Noticed all the gunk inside the contact part and cleaned it out. Vapes like it was new again now. The draw gets harder as it gets gunked up. I'm not sure of a good way to clean them. I just cleaned out as much as i could by using my shirt i was wearing at the time hehe.
