Hi there!

So, I can tell from your videos that you're a bright, informed and motivated young man; but I really have to pose this question for you: Why?

You're not a smoker, yet you've chosen to pick one of these up? Does the e-cig you picked up contain nicotine?

While I completely respect your liberty as an adult to purchase and use the product, it's a bit concerning to me- so, I have to ask, why?

Just watched your vid..........

IMHO, you've come to a forum as large as ECF for feedback with complete dis-regard (as well as any research and any lengthy interaction on this forum), to what we as a community, have tried to do in educating users, which include; discussion of use by minors, where to vape, rights, discussions of use by non-smokers, health & wellbeing, as well as any possible future regulations is off base.

While you are entitled to your opinions, advising others on what you believe is fact is inaccurate....

I have to agree with VChick.

While many of us reformed tobacco users do enjoy vaping, most of us here would rather have never put ourselves in the position where vaping is actually beneficial.

For a non-tobacco user, picking up an electronic cigarette is just plain stupid. It's not my intent to insult, but to get you to rethink your decision.

While vaping is most likely far less dangerous than smoking, I don't think anyone would claim that it is "healthy". We're all taking a gamble here, no one here knows the long term health effects of vaping, and it will likely be decades until we do know. There are a lot of variables in play, including hundreds of chemicals used in the flavoring additives. Do you really want to join us? We're the subjects of a new experiment- if vaping is some day proven to cause health problems, we're the ones who are taking that gamble, and we'll be the ones who end up sick.

While you probably know that smokers who quit to vape do notice improvements in their health, you should also realize that vapers who quit notice additional improvements.

Quitting tobacco is just plain hard, second only to ......! Why would you voluntarily choose to get yourself hooked on one of the most addictive drugs available? You may not be addicted yet, but (and trust me on this) it's just a matter of time now. Once you're addicted, you'll find yourself trapped and pray to corporations more than happy to take your money to give you your fix. No need to go down that road.

People were meant to breathe air. Your lungs have not evolved over hundreds of thousands of years to inhale propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine and chocolate (or whatever) flavoring.

You're doing a great disservice to those of us who've tried countless times to free ourselves of the trap of addiction through the use of nicotine replacement therapies, psychological therapies and pharmaceutical products. Many of has have settled on vaping because we weren't able to quit any other way, but make no mistake, most of us are still trapped- but we've found solace in a product that is most likely far less dangerous to us than smoking. By advocating the use of these products to people who don't use tobacco, you're inadvertently drawing the attention of big government regulators who (as you seem to know) are looking for any excuse to heavily control or destroy the e-cigarette industry.

You've chosen to put yourself in harms way, and you're video effectively advocates the use of dangerous chemicals by kids. I implore - I beg you to reconsider your decision and to remove your video.

In your video, you grossly understate the negative effects of nicotine on the cardiovascular system, and make other unfounded claims as well. No one yet knows the long-term effects of vaping, and for all we now know, the inhalation of colorants and flavorings could end up being seriously harmful to one's health. I join with others in asking you to remove your video.

And why does it "piss you off" that "kids" that you know consume energy drinks containing caffeine, when you are advocating the consumption of an even more potent drug?

I recommend that you do some very serious thinking about a very serious subject. You are certainly free to do whatever you want with your own body, but by making this video, you venture into the very different realm of negatively affecting the health of others, which I consider irresponsible, and more of a moral burden than anyone needs to bear, especially at such a young age.

Please pull the video.

You mention "vaping gives the illusion of smoking". This one point illustrates why you cannot review the Ecig properly because until you are a confirmed and addicted smoker of tobacco you can never know the true benefits we find in using an Ecig. There is the vapor but also the nicotine fix, the throat hit, the lung hit, the oral sensation, the physical motion...there are just too many items that you have missed in your video because you're not able to experience the full effect of vaping.
Because you are a non smoker and you are not a trained Medical Practitioner you really can't comment on the use and validity of the Ecig from a user's standpoint as you cannot begin to experience the vast majority of the benefits of vaping that we, as smokers, have all experienced.
Kinda the same as putting a non alcoholic through an Alcohol Treatment Center.
