Hey mistress i was wondering what your thoughts are on plain nic juice for DiY. Basicly what i was wondering what is best to cut it with PG or VG or a PG VG mix. I read quite a bit this morning but no one seems to go into what the base should be. The advantages of one over the other Or maybe it doesnt matter unless you want a all PG or VG juice. Was going to buy a 100% PG this morning but i stopped myself because of my noobness. If you know of a thread that explains it or if you could share your own wisdom on the matter, it would be greatly appreciated. :)

Unless you want 100% PG or VG juices, it really is just personal taste.

PG = stronger flavor and throat hit, less vapor.
VG = more vapor, softer throat hit and flavor.

I go 90% PG and 10% VG, because I need a throat hit that's like a good solid kick to the face. But I like the little bit of oomph the 10% VG adds to the vapor.

So, you can just look at the juices you have now, and see if there's any pattern in the PG/VG levels of your favorites. And buy based on that.

Thanks Mistress. I for sure found out i don't like a lot of VG in my juice. Tried some 30pg 70Vg and didn't like the taste of it at all. So i will get 100% PG based nic juice that way i can at least try out a a batch of all PG and no VG see if i like it. Although i think in the end it will be a mix of more PG then VG thats going to hit the sweet spot. Thank you again for sharing your Vaping Wisdom.

Yes, a brief discussion of mods would be good for noobs. To the effect that "you don't need to worry about it right now, you're just starting. But here's basically what they are and what people are talking about".

PS, love your new sig

I'd like to second Hiram13pm's great idea. Maybe when we have the Mpls meet up, you could make a quick video using what the other vapers bring? I know a couple people mentioned having a Kaji journeyman, a GLV2, and I can't remember what all else. The hard part of doing a video about mods is getting lots of different ones to show. You would be the perfect person to do this vid, though!

Thanks for the great videos! I sent them on to my sister and brother who are "newbie-er" than I am. I'm not as new (or broke), but I found them extremely helpful. Love your style! Would you consider a video on the 510 eGO? Maybe showing how to use it not only with the cartridges, but also using cartomizers"? (I use the cartomizers on mine for convenience and less maintenance of the atomizer). Its actually not that expensive for the start up kits and if you use the cartomizers you can buy the parts separately (no need for the atomizer, cartridges, or cone that come in the kit). Would love to send my sibs your video on that...much easier than explaining by phone or email. Just a thought...thanks again!

Unfortunately I don't own an eGo. I may have one I could borrow for the purposes of demonstration. I may do an E-cigs 202 at some point in the future.

Glad you like it!

EXCELLENT job on the videos!! I didn't get to watch them all yet, but you do an awesome job explaining the things most newbies have questions about. Like others have already posted I wish they'd been around when I was doing my initial research, but at least now I can point other interested converts to your vids and let you do the explaining for me - since you're SO much better at it than I am! LOL

Keep up the great work - you're a real asset to the vaping community. :)

The other problem is there's a new mod practically every week. It's hard to keep up with therm all.

Amen to that !...But to elaborate, there are a hundred different mods, 20 different batteries for them, and that arena is getting just plain nuts. Some of them are pretty cool though :)
Id be tempted to give mistress an ego kit, But Id have to include the bells and whistles, and they are growing for the ego. If you keep even teh ego simple, you still have a 510, joye 510 cartos, LR 510, XL atty, XL cone atty, and ego mega cartos. I dont have the cone atty, but I still wake up every morning hating the idea of 5 different atties just for my ego, until I decide which one Im sticking to. I still can't leave the house without my standard mega 510s. Its just too much, and a pleasurous torture :p

I agree that the "simple" eGo is getting crazy. I have everything for the eGo except the cone mega atty and can't see the need to try that since I have the cylinder one. But....after trying most everything at least once, my all-time PV is the eGo, and my all-time set up for it is the 510 Mega atty. I like the eGo mega (cylinder) atty and it's handy for driving long distances, but I think the flavor doesn't come through as well as it does on the 510 mega atty/cart set-up. That is the absolute to-die-for set up for me. Just ordered 10 more 510 megas from www.mye-cigsupply.com in all colors.

Mistress, I do think an eGo video should be in your future. These days the eGo is almost as popular (and almost as cheap from some suppliers) and almost as standard as the 510 or the KR808 for first-time vapors. See what you've started? Don't you just love the way we are all lining up the next video projects for you? LOL
