First - there are no failures:)blink:) only learning experiences. Learn what NOT to do again!

All TPA Flavors
Coffee Clear 3%
Cappuccino 5% - Not CarCap
Vanilla Cream 2%
Sweetener 1 Drop
Ethyl Maltol 1 Drop

Mixed everything up and let it steep for a week. Not sure what reacted to cause the distinct Baby Power Taste and Perfume Smell, But ECBlends sent me the exact same mistake 3 months ago <Coffee/french Vanilla> from their wizard menu. Just gave Both 5ml bottles a Burial at sea (Flush) RIP

Still no idea how to make Coffee/Cappuccino/Espresso but I have a clue how NOT to make 5 blends - See, learning. :D

The only Cappuccino I ever vaped was so nasty I haven't tried on e ever since. I think my taste buds just don't like it and since it made me literally gag and there are hundreds of flavors available, I haven't had the urge to try it as a DIY.

MMM, MMM, Baby Powder...nope, definitely won't be trying to make that:)

Coffee is hard for me as well. I'd suggest cutting out the clear and reducing the capp to 1%. No steep time needed. The flavor is good but not excellent...it needs to be stronger imo, but if I add more it just goes to pot (or baby powder lol).

Don't flush it! What if your .... crack gets sweaty?:p

Every single one of my coffee mixes have been met with catastrophic results. Think less baby powder, more .... sweat.

Maybe if you whip up another batch and we mix ours together it'll morph into something cool and dry and comfortable and pleasant?

I've tried TFA Cappuccino at 2,3,5,10% and it goes from nothing to muddled with no coffee type flavor at all. Decided to give a few others a try.
Lorann.......Mud at any level and NEVER add sweet cream unless you love butter in your mud.
TFA coffee clear... On its own, popcorn(burnt) mixed=baby powder

Going to test the espresso waters next. If I ever find something I can handle I'll try twisting it into submission.
Also have to test Mocha..........Hmmmm:w00t:

Got the flavors, may as well be adventurous. :D

yummmm, baby powder. I made pine-sol once, actually better than it sounds...

a hint on the coffees, 2% is too much. TFA Caramel Cap is brilliant at between 0.5% and 1.25%, Still playing with Kona, too strong @ 0.5%. Combining similar flavors can also lead to the "perfume problem" as the coffee and the cappuccino may actually use the same base flavor molecules. Also, keep in mind that when the star of the show only needs a tiny percent, you also need to back off on the the background players, or else they tend to steel the stage...

Boy, don't I know it - Yuck
Caramel cap - I only use 1 drop in 10ml
Regular Cap is no where near the strength
Coffee Clear, I may have messed up on, I know it is very strong. At least 2x coffee strength

For some reason I had my eye on the Vanilla or sweetener as the culprit, but who knows. I'm a bit leery to start trying combos to figure it out right now.

I've tried them all. FA Cap is pretty good, but Hangsen Espresso at 1 drop per ml is spot on coffee. It won't clog up the coils as well.

The Hangsen flavors seem expensive to me but I guess I'm going to have to order some. Supposedly their chief developer was hired away from Dekang a while back.

Let me make a suggestion here. I didn't hit the jackpot with coffee flavors either until I made my own. No kidding! Pick out a coffee flavor that you like and mix app. 1 tsp. of coffee in 15ml of PG. Give it a hot water bath and let it steep for a few days, pour it thru a coffee filter to get rid of the grounds and what you have left is a perfectly balanced natural coffee flavor. You probably want to start mixing it at about 5% and work up. Of course you can add other flavors to liven it up. I made a mocha latte and I love it mixed at 8% with a little tad of DIY Flavorshack buttercream. Yummy! And very inexpensive. I'm going to make a batch of Dunkin Donuts Hazelnut next. The flavors should stay good for a long time. I've had my mocha latte for about 3 months and it's still as good as it was when I made it. Good luck!

ETA: There's no cut and dried rule on how much coffee grounds to make your flavoring with. I just estimated what I probably used. Just put a good amount in PG and if it's too strong, just cut back on the amount you use when you mix your juice with it.

It's expensive because the vendors pay an arm and leg for shipping.

Actually Hangsen are the inventors of E Liquid. Check this out.. Hangsen - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

OK, this is da first post in a while that has caused my chuckle muscles to cramp!

BTW, I enjoy da smell of baby powder... but don't think I'd ever vape such a recipe...

I betcha there are ppl that would!
there are ppl that EAT baby powder. I found out about this "strange addiction" like 10-15? years ago...i was poking around on the internet looking at diet stuff and came across a whole post somewhere....the thing that sticks in my mind the most is that one poster would ONLY eat walmart brand (and was so addicted that she couldn't go in the store without sampling on the baby powder aisle)...J&J or any other brand was in emergency only.

ARGGGHHHHH................Did it again

This time I used a Posted Recipe - adjusted for flavoring
Coffee Clear 1%
Mocha 3%
Bavarian Cream 3%
EM 5%
Sweetener 2 drops

Straight up Baby powder!!!!!

Either:
a) 2 coffee type Base do NOT work together
B) Any Vanilla type cream kills it.
3) combo of all Three cause catastrophic failure

Wish I had a clue!

Just Added 2% Double Chocolate to try and Break the Taste/smell - prefer to save the juice IF possible. Will let steep a few days and test again.

I tried one mix with 2.5% coffee clear and 1% EM... it was downright AWFUL. The test batch was donated to the insinkerator!

I might try knocking it down to 1% (one drop) and see what happens.

I'm just looking for a nice coffee flavored vape...and I drink coffee black...
I might try the extraction method described above...that sounds pretty interesting and easy!

If I find success, I will post it for sure. Please do the same!

Thanks
Geo

For now I'm using TFA Mocha about 1 drop per ml 1% EM.5% and 2 drops sweetener per 5ml
Not great, but vapable until I can come up with something.

I don't do ground coffee so not going to buy a big can just to try extraction.

With all the Flavors available and all the e-liquids(some decent) it has to be able to be done.
