ARGH! I can't get it off my atty or my mouth.

I have no idea which flavor it is...

Caramel Cappy
Sweet Cream

Both TFA.

Any idea? I never want to use it again!!!!

God love you Sweetie...you'd think those two would go together lovely....I would suggest a carto for each flavor....that would keep your mistakes out of your attys.....but thats just me.....I know we all have to keep our costs down.....Good luck Keep trying! :)

LOL, I can relate. The first DIY I made was a RY4 clone. 15 minutes after I made it, it was great. I had my non-vaping son try it the next morning. I thought I had hit the mother-lode in flavors. He winced and hasn't vaped since. When I tried it after he had, it was so bad I thought I was going to throw up. I threw away the bottle I had made and the atty too. Incredibly nasty. My flavoring was way too strong.

I guess I could have salvaged the atty but it was so bad I didn't even try.

I have a small plastic container (deli one like you get coleslaw in) that has about an inch of vodka in it.. when I want to clean an atty I let it soak in there over night or longer if I forget about it :) It will get most flavors out! Rinse a few times when you pull it out and let it dry :)

If something tastes bad, my rule of thumb is you crossed the to much flavoring line! If it tastes light or you cant taste it at all, generally you need more. (always increase slowly, its a bit of work but so worth it in the end!)

Caramel Cap was designed to be extremely strong, start at around 1% and work your way up drop by drop to find your personal desired flavor.

Sweet Cream was not designed to be a major flavor in a mix, but as a subtle expression. Sweet Cream is one of the few flavors with a 6 month shelf life, it does not contain items that will go bad, but the flavor will decrease over time. It is not sweet, so if your looking to add creamy and sweet you may want to try something like bavarian cream instead :)

I agree that it's the caramel cappuccino. I found a recipe finally that seems to work. It calls for 5 drops from a small pipette in a 10 ml recipe. I let it steep and it's still just a tad too much. I think I'm going to try 3 or 4 drops from a small pipette -- very small drops. This is the strongest flavor I've come across!

I dunno as I am too new at the DIYing to have a solid opinion. Buuuuuttt...I recently ordered some TPA Coffee flavoring and just sniffing the bottle was a definite Eau de Cat pee moment. And so it was with some LorAnn's Coffee flavoring, now that I think about it...

Maybe its the coffee/espresso/capp flavoring, itself?

Let me guess.... Coffee Extra (Clear) was the cat pee one.
If so, another guy and I that recently got a bottle of this stuff got the exact same sensation. There doesn't seem to be much talk of it before the last couple days. Maybe we got a bad batch.

Edit to add: I just re-read your post OP, I had to shower to get the smell off me too. Strange that so many of us are getting this urine taste from all of the PA coffees all of a sudden- maybe the base stuff they use for all of the coffee flavors went bad or something.

Thanks for the tips. I better understand what the Sweet Cream taste is now. I'm not so sure what to use it with, but I do need to get some Bavarian Cream it seems. I did get the atty usable again after the final dry burn.

Next time I attempt anymore cappy, I will start smaller.

I don't think the batch I got it bad. It is very clear and doesn't smell bad from the bottle. I think I just used too much.

Oh well, Try try again. That's part of the fun of DIY. You find out what does and doesn't work. I learned, through trial and error, how much Koolada I like in my watermelon juice.
As a noob joose maker, I am rather pleased with most of the creations I've made so far (except for the cat pee). Although they are pretty basic, they are good to me. I know I'll get more experienced with my blends at some point, and if not, I have some pretty awesome basic flavors. 20% watermelon with a few drops of cotton candy and 1% Koolada is pretty amazing! It is my go to vape.

Bah! Where's your sense of adventure? Your joy of learning?

What is really fun is making that horrible mix and telling a friend about how bad it is and they have to try it to see if it is as bad as you said. That only works a few times and they begin to believe you and won't try those. So be sure to pick the most facial contorting mixes when describing the bad flavor to your friends.

Haha. Don't be scared. That mix was by far the worst I have made so far. Everything else has been at least vapable and if not I could dilute it enough to add another flavor to make it vapable.

As far as the atty, after it aired out for a little while, it was totally usable again. I did run some no nic unflavored base juice through it for a few puffs though.
