The same place has a 5 pack of cartos on clearance for $7. I got the 16mg - which *should* be about right for me.

The only mistake I may have made was getting a bottle of 24mg USA Mix. I smoke Marlboro Lights so it may be a bit too potent. Any advice on dilution?

Yes -

Go to Walmart and buy a bottle of Humco Glycerin or Michael's crafts and get the Wilton glycerin (near the cake decorating stuff). Those are both vegetable glycerin that should taste fine. Cartos should work OK with 75PG/25VG (though I get better carto life with 20% or less VG). You could also try to get an empty eyedropper bottle from a pharmacist. Mix 3 parts juice with 1 part VG. However that will also dilute the flavor. A better way is to buy the same juice in 12mg and mix that and 24mg 50/50. Or nuy the same juice in 0mg and mix 3 parts 24mg with 1 part 0mg

Like to add you can get the VG at a health food store if in hurry and have one nearby which was my case.
You will get it much cheaper at walmart thats for sure !

Welcome and congrats! I'm sure that you'll enjoy the 510. And, you might find that the 24mg juice will keep the cravings away if the 16mg doesn't. Remember to drink lots of water!

Don't worry about nicotine level starting out. Sometimes you need higher nicotine to make the transition from smoking to vaping. Once you're off cigs for awhile you can always lower the nicotine amount if you want to.

Absolutely right about not being sure what nic level to start out on, as well as getting the VG at Wal-Mart.

I have a small bottle of some VG + distilled water I used in a tank to try to clear the flavor out of my atty between tanks (if I am switching flavors). Tons of vape, lowering amounts oh nic and flavor as it clears the wick. Funny just to sit there like a little kid and be like "lookatme, I'm a fog machine!"

Yes I am that easily amused at times, I will admit it!

so much better that bumming a smoke or buying a pack...

A little VG also helps produce big clouds of vapor, for some (like me) it's as important
as the nicotine, give you a real satisfied feeling.

Forget who I was saying it to. Got sent some 100% VG juice in a care package by a forum dweller and was saying that the vape was so think I couldn't see my monitor
