I'm curious if there is a correlation between owning a new flat screen high def tv, and owning an ego or mod, in regards to buying decisions and preferences in thinking patterns, to buying e cigs. Anyone care to chime in? How many ego owners do NOT own a high def, or iphone for that matter. I'm like mistress, and prefer simplicity. Just an out there kinda thought that crossed my mind. Ill edit post if deemed inappropriate for the thread.

Well...don't know exactly what to say, but want to comment. I own an iphone......because I want easy access to pictures of my grandbabies. And I own a 32" flat screen TV with high def, but never watch the high def channels because I prefer the faces on my T.V. to not look old and wrinkled. And I own an eGo just because I think they look cool.....but I'm not the least bit interested in a "mod" of any sort. So.....where does all that fit and what does all that tell ya? Also, my eGo is pink.....but I never vape in front of anybody. I don't vape at work (never smoked at work...not allowed...work at a tobacco free college campus) and I don't go clubbing. And....not sure I'd lump an eGo with mods. To me the eGo is just exactly like my little 510 except for the battery life. So......

I bought my ego ONLY because its not that expensive IMO, and since its all the rage, I had to try it and see its versatility. I did the same with a prodigy V2, which was sold. But dropping 60 bucks or 150, I can lose. Dropping 3 grand to see if I like it..well, " hey bro, lemme watch your tv for a minute" seemed to work well for me. But I'm still into simplicity, and testing the joye cartos now. With all my "stuff", I really still mainly use my mega 510s. I dont have a flat screen or an iphone, but that bro I mentioned sure jumped on my phone plan so he could score his iphone 2 and 3, or whatever new versions for 200 bucks, instead of dropping 600. I'll get there, im sure. But as with the ego, I've had it a week. My buying preferences are to buy COMPLETE items..so tv would require the entertainment center, or wall mount, or both, surround sound, blueray, etc. I hate base models. SO, with my mega 510s, I have my pcc's, car adapter, ac-usb adaptor, all colors, adaptors and carts, atties, cartos. I buy best quality, and use, not just whats new I guess is what Im saying in all my ramblings. But my tube screen I bought new for 250.00 and a decent military grade cell with a great speaker phone serves me well. :p

I'm with JC - the eGo is just a *bigger* stock battery. And you can treat it the same way you treat the standard 510 or Kr8 batts. If I used 510's more than I do, I'd have an eGo. I don't own a TV (by choice), and my phone is one of those old brick-shaped Nokia's circa 2006 (it ain't broke, why fix it?).

But, since I mostly use the Kr8 when I'm out and that gets decent battery life, and I have a 510 PT for at home, I took a pass on the eGo.

Elendil, I can't imagine what your living room looks like. :)

I'm confident you realized, even as you were keyboarding the thought, that you'll almost certainly never know the answer.

Having said that, it's an idea that certainly transcends your choice of PV. As you suggest, the essential trunk of your personality supports the visible foilage and the colors manifested. Perhaps the evergreens make do, are content with 510s & 901s while deciduous types are never satisfied, always see Nirvana waiting for them within the next, higher voltage, ever more outrageous mod.

Or not. There's too many factors, people are ultimately too complicated for the theory to contain everyone neatly. Ted Kazinsky--if you can overlook the multiple murderer thing for a moment--lived, by militant preference, a decidedly simple existence. But if his bomb designs indicate anything, he'd have been the ultimate modder.

I think I'd be a cactus.

But then again, I have spent literally hours decorating my batteries.
