I continue to be amazed and grateful to Della Cirque for giving me an eGo-T battery with a assortment of handy bits, including a drip tip, an few LR attys and a cool mod thingie she made herself. She offered this generous gift late last night\early this morning, and because we live 20 miles apart, I already have in my hot little hand. (You do the math. The odds are bind-boggling).

She even let me take a hit off of her mod that was clearly from the Big People's Table. (I have already forgotten what she called it, but upon the first hit, I saw pandas throwing Frisbees to Unicorns right there in the Lowe's parking lot).

Anyway, everyone who suggested the LR carts were dead on. The hit is fantastic. I can't wait for my first bottles of juice to arrive (hopefully tomorrow). I have not made my decision yet, but I can't put a price tag on the value of having an eGo-T in my hands.

Now I will do my research on the KGO, Echo-e, and others.

Thanks again for all the advice!

...and if you run across Della Cirque, give her a nice e-hug!

LMAO! Glad you are liking it!
The mod that gave you unicorn & panda visions is a REO, come visit the subforum anytime.
Great group of people.

This has been a very interesting and heart warming thread to read. Par for course here at ECF, wisdom and sharing, making this the very best of worlds.
I have been using my eGo t type A for a month & am happy with it-though if I could I would probably upgrade, like someone said when I win the lotto or something. I like my eGo & have had no problems with my starter kit items. I got an LR atty & it was horrible. Have fiddled with it & just can't use it, it burns and is terrible. I ordered a couple more SR's that appear to be on a slow boat from China, but sure hope they work. Finding the right juice is a little tricky, but I think that's just true for any device.
I hope you enjoy your eGo & thank everyone for sharing ideas. :vapor:

I just got my eGo-T and so far am enjoying it. It does leak though and I'm hoping to learn from all of you how to control / stop that. I started vaping 2 months ago after smoking analog cigarettes for 40 years. Started out with a K808 and still use it too.

The biggest help that I found with the leaking on the "T" was to concentrate on taking long, slow draws. The standard system is much more forgiving, IMO, but if you can have the patience needed for the tank system, the clean flavor and volume of vapor is totally worth it. It's just a different technique than non-tank PV's and I would have had no clue what I was doing wrong had my local vendor not "schooled" me in the tank-vaping style.

love the ego-T batteries, but not impressed with the tank system, at least not for flavor and/or cost (never had any leaking issues myself). i switched to bigger cartomizers on my egoT.

then again the B size egoT atomizers weren't that bad, its the A's that aren't worth a dang i think. but for say $7, i'd rather get 2 nice cartomizers than one good atomizerB.

So grateful for all of this information. I have my eGo-T batt (thanks again Della Cirque!!!). I am looking for good LR cartomizers. Any suggestions? vaporleaf.com and myvapor.com have been recommended. Any seconds to that, or any other ideas?

Also, it would appear (I have not yet confirmed) that my eGo-T puts out 3.2 to 3.4 volts. Could those LR cartomizers drain\hurt\damage my eGo-T battery?

Ugh - they went up $20 this morning. :-(

Last I looked the price went up, but only $10.00 to $89.99. U sure you weren't looking at the newly adjusted lower "suggested retail" of $99.99?

The price of the 5 pack attys dropped a few dollars! - both regular and LR. Can't recall if the drop was 2.00 or 3.00 so I don't want to give a specific on that one.

I'm ticked too. Because that order I place "elsewhere" has gone AWOL. I'm caught between vendor saying "Oh yes I did ship it!" and USPS tracking saying they don't even have a package.:mad::mad: Regardless, I don't have it. And I lost out on the Ovale discount in the process. Until that order gets sorted out I'm not buying anything else. 5 business days - time to put USooPS on the case and see what they have to say. I see a CC dispute in my future...

I'm lovin my ego-t. I was using a generic 808.

Some issues that take getting used to is not holding your finger on the 'air holes'. A few times I was like WTF am I not getting a hit? Going from an automatic to a manual battery there have been a few times I have been hitting on it wondering why I am not getting any vape.... ah duh, have to hold the button :) Tank issues. No major leakage. I do get some mouth juice once in a while, less of a drop than what you get from getting the nectar from a honeysuckle. I do take my tank out every so open and give it a wipe with a paper towel to see if it is leaking.

I'm waiting on some cartos from CCV. So will be able to make a comparison then.

I paid $69.99 for both of my Ego-C kits in November. They're now selling them for $89.99. With my math, that's a $20 increase.

The atties dropped $3 - they were an even $30.

You are right, the eGo runs at 3.2-3.4V. LR attys/cartos will drain any PVs batteries alittle faster but as long as you dont use too low of a resistance, it shouldnt hurt them. Using 1.5-1.7ohm wont hurt the battery as much, but they can fry the eGo mosfet. If your going to use LRs I wouldnt use anything lower than 2.0ohm. Using 1.5ohm cartos puts a lot of stress on the mosfet and leaves very little room for error. frying the mosfet will turn your eGo into a paperweight, so if you do use them, be careful. While many people have used 1.5 and 1.7ohm attys/cartos on an eGo with no problems, theres also a lot of people that have fried an eGo doing it. Thats why I recommend a 3.7V PV if you really like LRs. They handle the LRs much better and are less likely to fry with a real low resistance atty/carto. I use an E-Power and its been able to handle any carto I throw at it

I would get your cartos from CCV. Their prices are great and they guarantee all carto purchases. ALso they have free shipping which is nice when you just want to order cartos. Get the Boge 3.0ohm for a cooler vape, and the 2.0ohm if you like a warmer vape. They also give a free syringe with all boxes of cartos and if you get a 15-pack you get a syringe and a free drip tip!

Goodluck!
