I need help with "dead" Smok Alien!!!

Hi everyone I have a smok alien which will not turn on , I contacted the Chinese vendor and they asked me about my serial number and stuff for a replacement ,unfortunately during the moving to the new apartment I lost the original box with the serial.
Is there a way to get my serial number out of the device somehow?

Did you happen to update the firmware? did you try updating firmware again to see if it'll turn on?

outside of that IDK where you would find the serial number personally without the box and without the device turning on

No I updated more then a month ago to 1.22 , i made a video for them to show that i put 2 batteries at 4.2 v in the mod and nothing happens ...but they don't care about the issue or the proof they just care about a serial number which I don't have anymore

How long ago did you purchase it, and have you approached the retailer who sold it to you about the issue?

Yeah I got it from China from ElegoMall 2 months ago ,I talked to them today sent them the video but nothing ...they say that they can t replace it without a serial number ....go figure

they are the smok warranty center for the US

Sorry to hear your Alien died @dj_Adam21 but not having the box does not allow them to authenticate it is a genuine product and not a fake or clone.

Well that s the weird part cos there are no alien mod clones out there, tanks? yeah for sure ....but nobody s gonna clone a 40-50$ mod

I agree with you, but it really does happen. Thing is, shouldn't a serial number be on the mod, not the packaging? Not everyone saves the box to "prove" it's authentic (OK, I do save the boxes, but that's for storage, not serial numbers).

That makes at least two of us. I also keep them for gifting or re-selling.

If nothing else, this thread got me to looking and for the life of me, I can't find anything through the mod menu to show the serial number. Unless I am missing something in the menu, looks like we have a more important reason for saving the packaging.

Or they could just laser edge the number on the bottom of the device
