I do like me some females. lol

I am doing it because of how the number is so drastically different. As you learn in marketing class you try to appeal not only to your primary demographic but use methods and techniques to lure in your minorities. In this case, women.

But marketing class should also mention that it is only worth marketing to your minorities if they are relevant to your product, is a female non-smoker really your target market?

He's a Man and he likes females. :)

Riiiiiight. But...uh A.) Nothing is being "sold" to need to diversify a demographic "to increase sales, etc." and B.) If it's fishing for a gf, as it most certainly seems to me, I'm not sure posting a thread on a forum asking females to get their female friends to watch a youtube video for the sake of building a contact list OR using it as a tool to build self assurance that females actually watch your video (in which case it doesn't count because they weren't drawn to the site naturally, and you would be artificially injecting female viewership by asking flat out "FEMALES! TELL YOUR FEMALE FRIENDS TO WATCH MY VIDEO!) doesn't seem creepy or desperate.

Hey, I havn't "begged" anyone on here to be my girlfriend. I have asked a few ladies if they were single, but what is wrong with that?

This is not some plea for an internet gf, had one, it did not work out.

I just want a more even demographic, jesey crezy you guys got nothing better to do than rag on people?

It's not ragging on you man, but holding a contest, with promise of prizes, to court a "certain" demographic, with absolutely no gain for you with the exception of you "knowing" that more "females" will be watching a youtube video, is highly suspect to ulterior motives. Sure, you want to increase the "female demographic", but since you're not selling anything, it makes me wonder what reasoning is behind it. If you stand to gain nothing from female viewership, as you do with male viewership, then it shouldn't matter the sex of your viewing demographic. So, why is it you just want more females as opposed to males? I would be like me looking at my cell phone bill and getting all excited because 51% of the calls were females. This is a good sociology experiment. I do love sociology.

That's called reverse voyeurism by the way. Wanting a certain group to have eyes upon you for no benefit other than knowing that they have eyes upon you. Then making an effort ($$$) to increase viewership within that certain group (females) as only that will bring you personal joy, not the other groups (males).

I tend to agree with Yoshimi that most vapers are men, but I also think that the industry is skewed that way.
Hasn't made me very popular with a lot of other women vapers, but honestly most women I know do not want to pull those things out of a great looking purse, when they are all dressed up .. especially most of the mods. Yes there are some pink PV's...(notice how fast they go out of stock?) but just being Barbie Pink is really not enough to appeal to most women. Get some of the moders with the great ideas more on board and watch the demographic change.

You might all resent me for saying it, but a little style and elegance would not go amiss and would bring a lot more women into the fold, because in general women are more open to "healthier alternatives" than men. Not sure I am allowed to say "healthier alternatives" but a lot of doctors already have so I will risk it.

And yes I do watch you :D

I like pulling out my pink one from my purse. It's a lot sexier than pulling out a marlboro from my great looking purse. :D However, I do agree with you. We do need a more "feminine" mod out there for the ladies.
