hmm, could well be the batteries, do they have any damage to their shrink wrap at all?
Do you have a multimeter to test them to see what's going on with them?
Lastly, how do you insert the batteries? I mean, do you insert them after you put the end cap on (the one with the spring on) and with the negative side facing the cap? Do you attach the atomiser before or after screwing the TS down to make contact?

my friend accross the street has a multi-meter, he not in right now, to put in batts i unscrew adapter cap, leave end cap on, screw atomizer on adapter, put batteries in negative down, positive towards atty, srewn down till i feel the batts hit the brass centre pole with spring. i used the directions from the pass through.

the 6v's that shorted the i6 are in perfect condition, the other pair have slight indents in the negative terminals due to a slight over tightening with my cartomizer, but why would both pairs be behaving the same way?. they are tenergy cells....but you can get bad batteries from even the expensive AW one's, ill have to see if i can get the meter from my friend tomorrow if he can find it lol, if not i may go buy one.

p.s. i do remember an older thread where a couple people where talking about batteries that where doing exactly what these are...so i will not use them on anything more than this old carto i have, and not until i get the meter.

When you crush a PCB I am sure it will not be a good thing. I think when you over tightened it damage happened to the electronics of the battery PCBs. I bet you are using those 900 mAh Blue Tenergy batts aren't you?

You may even have a problem with your charger. And you will NEED a multimeter for this hobby. HV vaping needs caution and good battery management. Hands down.

That is the batteries I use most of the time. I have never had a problem yet. I am very careful about over tightening. That will kill an atty or a battery. If your GG don't fire then clean it. If it still won't fire see if something needs an adjustment. :) So far this has been all I have needed.:)

I keep good care of batteries and i am organized :) The crushed batteries where only ever used on the cartomizer, so they were not the problem, the 3vs are gone now, along with any 3.7v's that could have contributed to the the cause...no point in wasting more atties for 10 dollar batteries, my buddy can't find his multi-meter lol you should she his tool closet8-o8-o8-o8-o,i atties are being returned to rob, probably only gunna get a replacement for the DOA which is understandable. my 510's should be here soon, i will be vaping 3.7v on the 510's until my new order of i7's comes in:) also going to order up some more cr123a's from hong kong...8 for 14 bucks, spend more then 25 and you get free air mail, last order arrived in 7 days!!!

I still am wondering what brand of battery you were using when you had these problems skydogg... The suspense is killing me... ahhahahha....

Sorry yeah the blue tenergry cr123a 3.0v and GTL 3.6v 1200mah cr123a;) ...these problems can happen with any battery though....read reviews for any battery and you will find some like mine no matter what battery...
