i just ordered a kit for my mother and one for myself. then i ordered a six more evod atomizers and an assortment of juices. i need to make sure that we both have what we need to last us a a few weeks in order to make sure we dont have to run and buy another pack of smokes. as in... something that has an end of life and i should have purchased a few extras.

kit: 1300 spinners with evod
http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

six more evod atomizers

plenty of juices

thank you all very much for all of the infomation posted on this site. i was about to run to the store and buy a couple of blu sets until i had the bright idea of finding a forum. little did i know...

also. i play a lot of disc golf and the 1300s seem to be a little bit on the chunky side. how 'brittle' are these things? if i put them in a pocket of my disc golf bag and it gets beat up a little bit... do i run a good chance of the head breaking off at the battery etc? is it best for me to keep them in a case and have to mess with taking it in and out as i am walking through the woods? a lanyard pouch? would it be best to keep the head disconnected from the battery?

neither option is preferable to me. but if i need to protect it... then i guess i will have to deal with it.

thanks again,
patrick.

Welcome to the forum. Looks like you've got a good amount of gear coming to keep you going for a while. I don't really see a problem with carrying them while playing disc golf just be carefull sitting down, etc if your going to carry them in a back pocket. A neck lanyard may be an option as I use one when riding the Harley so I don't have to dig around if I want a vape.

Good choices :) A lanyard might not be a bad idea. Spinners don't like to be dropped.

yah i kept seeing the same thing over and over again. everyone seems to say if your dont start with one... you will end up upgrading to it. so i figured i would go ahead and run with it. it looks like i have everything i need then to start. thanks for looking it over for me.

i am liking the lanyard idea more and more. after the harley comment... i realized i can probably keep it around my neck and never have to take it out to take a hit. maybe a pepper spray or mag light belt pouch would be an option also. i am probably jumping the gun a bit. i need to get the product here before i worry about it. and see what it is i am dealing with.

If you feel you don't have enough gear, always get more. It's relatively cheap, and I recommend a variety of devices and atomizer types. Personally, I can't stick with one type of battery/atty combo, I get bored and cravings start.

I disc golf a lot, I've found the two biggest issues I have is dust/dirt buildup on my gear when carrying it around, and 'bending' the unit in my pocket while bending down or sitting. I've broken a few CE3's and CE4's that way, haven't broken a battery yet. Used my X2's which as basically eGos, all sizes. A lanyard is probably a good idea.

im really digging the x2 xl case. thanks to the name in the pic i was able to hunt down the link. Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette i will be buying this in a few minutes. the carabiner will hook onto my bag in several different spots. thanks a ton and this looks like it will solve my issues.

thats what i am worried about. im glad there is a serious disc golfer or two around here. you understand all of the weird positions you get into in order to find a shot. i can see me breaking one of these a week if i dont do something to protect it. the lanyard... i decided i dont want it under my shirt. i guess i dont want it around my neck at all the more i think about it. i dont want the feeling and weight of it distracting me from putting and difficult shots. that xl case looks like there is a hard shell in it to protect it.

thanks for responding.

Kind of late but you may want to order some 510 atomizers to test new juices- much easier to clean than tanks if the juice is "yucky".
Best of Luck.

i have to admit i was laying down trying to sleep this morning wondering how i was going to test out my flavors when all i got was one tank per batt. thats a great idea. thank you.

i hadnt thought of that and i feel really stupid for it. my train of thought for this whole process is... i want vaping to take place of regs. if at some point down the road i am able to put it down i will be happy. if not... i will continue to vape and be happy. either way... the smoke, tar, and chemicals need to leave my body and mind forever. <-- i am trying to instill that train of thought into my mother also. talking her into the ego vs a little 510 was difficult.

all of that was said so i can say... your comment put my mind at ease. thanks a ton.:)

You're Welcome and The Best of Luck.

i am an online shopping guru and i have a love for building and tinkering and improving projects. to the point where i am never finished on some things. this new habit that most people turn into a hobby worries me. i hope i have a good bit of self control because what i ordered... is all i will ever need cept for replacing parts as they eol. but if i hang out on this site too much, which is easily happening already, i am going to be in a world of hurt.

the guy that owns puresmoker.com lives in my town somewheres and runs his shop in the next town. but he is high dollar :(

searching around a bit got me this place though. Physical Location | Nashville Vapor their prices arent too bad and have an actual b&m. looks to be priced as if i bought on internet and paid for ship, plus tax. i can handle that. i reckon ill head there and grab the 501 parts. maybe even find out about the area meets.

Good score. I once drove 260 kms round trip for a $30 X 25 ml bottle of juice...I'd do it all over again

I use a lanyard all the time and find either tucking it in a shirt pocket or using a clip will keep it from swinging into the way (the bra tuck is also an option but not very good if you're out in public ... or if you're a guy!)

The bra stash is awesome! One of these day's I'll get a girlfriend so I don't have to do it myself anymore. (I probably still will, though.) ;)
