Done! What do you think? Too unobtrusive? About right?
Thanks!
SJ
#CCCCCC (or #CCC) looks perfect to me -- noticable even to my oldish eyes, yet non-obtrusive.
Here's a few more acronyms and abbreviations:
'CASAA' => 'The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-Free Alternatives Association'
'Batt' => 'Battery'
'PGA' => 'Pure Grain Alcohol'
'HV' => 'High Voltage / High Voltage Device'
'Cart' => 'Cartridge'
'WTA' => 'Whole
tobacco Alkaloid'
'SHS' => 'Second-Hand Smoke'
Also, you might want to add the pluralized versions of PV, Atty, Batt, and Cart:
'PVs' => 'Personal Vaporizers'
'Attys' => 'Atomizers'
'Atties' => 'Atomizers'
'Batts' => '
batteries'
'Carts' => 'Cartridges'
I can understand hesitation about including vendor-specific acronyms, but if you decide to go ahead and include some, here are a few that gave me pause when I first started reading this forum, and sometimes more recently. I've only listed ones that I think are commonly used on this forum:
'JC' => 'Johnson Creek'
'TW' => 'Totally Wicked'
'PS' => 'PureSmoker'
'AEC' => 'AbsolutelyECigs'
'MFS' => 'MyFreedomSmokes'
'V4L' => 'Vapor4Life'
'SLB' => 'Sai Le Bao / Sailebo'
'SE' => 'SmokeEverywhere' (might be in a "don't promote" category similar to that of ASH, though)
'JS' => 'JantyStick'
'SB' => 'Silver Bullet'
I'm sure I'll think of more as soon as I hit "Submit Reply"!
I suggest redefining 'PH' to 'acidity or basicity of a solution', because pH in this
sense is certainly the more common use of the two-letter acronym on ECF -- either that, or remove it altogether.
Also, I can imagine new persons discovering that 'VG' = 'Glycerine/Glycerin/Glycerol' would immediately generate the same question over and over again -- in their minds, and eventually, in a bunch of posts -- "what does the 'V' in 'VG' stand for?" Therefore, make it 'Vegetable Glycerine / Vegetable Glycerin / Glycerol'.
One more you could consider: I bet a lot of people wonder who or what the heck "SJ" is!!!
