I'm being nosey.... What's wrong with the one you sent in?

You certainly are!!!! Just kidding!

The finish was coming off. There was a tiny spot about the size of one of the tear drops on the cap, right on the upper edge where the cap meets the main tube. I had it a few more days between originally asking them about it & making the trip to the nearest city/UPS spot - they sent me a prepaid return label so I couldn't just use the local post office - and it didn't seem to progress any further. I handled it with 'velvet gloves' the whole time so it was a little odd. They said they'd just replace it for me & it doesn't look like they're charging me a cent, even for shipping in either direction.

Darkgear, send Provari ring suggestions for SnP / Sophia set up. Thanks brother.

Hippo for sure. The SnP is flat bottommed with no air channels. If you push it down to the ProVari you get zero airflow. Seriously, I get absolutely no air through it. You can push it up and get some airflow but then there's a gap and it leaves the ring loose. None of the rings allow airflow and I tried them all except the Kayfun PV cone and that one doesn't seem any different.

I read that the GP SnP Pro ring fixes the airflow problem. Mine's in the mail so I'll let you know when I get it.

The HIPPO v2 is hard to find in stock. Avid Vapors has them in stock now but they want $49.99. They are the only place I have seen it in stock as of today.

Thanks brother... I already have the Hippo v2 so I will use that one when the tank gets in; will let you know how it works. I asked because I know you pretty much have or have tried every ring on the market - and I read Banghandler's issues with the Pro Ring... But, I am going to set it up per your advise.

Well, my issues weren't with the ProRing per se, it was actually just me being an eedjit.

I also found the Tatroe ring to work really well with the SnP. Can't adjust the airflow like with the Hippo, but for me, at least, it allows for just the right amount of air.

(But take that for what it's worth, see first sentence).
