I had childhood asthma, and while I'm not bothered much by it now, my lungs are pretty scarred. So smoking generally took a lot out of my breathing. Made me a night smoker only. This afternoon I vaped about 1.5 cigarettes worth, then went on a two mile bike ride. No problems at all. Well, my legs got tired pretty quickly, but that's most likely because I haven't ridden in about a month. Thought this information might be helpful to those looking into e-cigs that are apprehensive towards the claims that people can breathe easier. I was skeptical too. Not anymore.

shoeshine,

I'm not as veteran as some others here [check my banner, 11 days or 12....] but I agree, and will put this out there for the skeptics, too.

I used to get up coughing every morning in the months before I started vaping....I still cough once in a while now, but I know it's only because my lungs are working properly again [like they did when I was a kid] and now they're getting all the crud out from the past 8 years of smoking many, many analog cigarettes.

I also breathe easier all day. I haven't tried to run much as it is very icy in Ohio right now, but my wife and I usually take walks when it's nice out, and I'm very much looking forward to not running out of breath before we even get halfway to our favorite downtown picnic table.....and I have been thinking of giving jogging a try!

This e-cig thing is all to the good!
