Where did you buy your board? And what happened? Yihi usually has distributers that you should go through when you have an issue.

Screen died. Contacted YiHi about fixing it but they're giving me the run around and being shady in general. I will post the chat logs if it comes to that. They have even deleted messages sent over Skype.

Mods look good, I wouldn't try using any of them though because you NEVER SOLDER batteries!!!!!!!!! This is why if you ever see a battery pack with connected batteries they are always joined by metal strips welded (using a process which is actually fairly cold). To be safe you should really bin those batteries and do something else to join them, but the chip will probably save you

I wouldnt use a battery holder on my sx-350 60w mod 16ga silver teflon coated wire soldered directly to the battery is the only way to go.
I carry it in my pocket next to my junk. I would not do that if I didnt know it was safe to do!
Not everyone has a spot welder to attach metal tabs to the battery which I agree would be ideal. It takes about 3seconds of heat on the battery to solder the lead. I am not sure what your trying to say. Maybe your just trying to get your post count up as you have less than 30 posts. I suggest you read a lot more...
